    *embracing my SRS-A1*
"You're not fat, they didn't mean it! I STILL LOVE YOU!!!"
Joking aside, good work guys and thanks for the update!
Any of these changes coming to the HTI in the near future?

The changes will not be coming to the HTI in the near future.

Good Day Gentlemen, I have the SRS A1 which you claim a 1/2 minute guarantee, and it does, or I would have sold it a long time ago. But now you're claiming that with your new chassis, you've increased the accuracy another 36% which puts SRS A2 at .32 MOA, yet you are still saying that you are guaranteeing 1/2 MOA. Why don't you guarantee .32 MOA, and buying the new model becomes justifiable? You also stated that you repeatedly got the extra 36% accuracy.

Lefty here, keep up the great work guys! I'm always excited when something new or an update comes out for your firearms. Desert Tech is one of those companies that is attentive and open with the issues their products have, and keeps working until the weapon system performs reliably with better performance.
The MDR had many issues, and Desert Tech went back to the drawing board after listening to the issues their customers were having without complaining, blaming anyone else, or simply ignoring it and moving on. The MDR is now reliable and even better than before, and it's development team was humbly transparent with their customers about what they were doing to fix it. Now the SRS gets an upgrade, addressing issues buyers had once again, improving on a weapon system that to many was already great. This company truly knows what customer service means, and will have me as a very near future customer.

Called your company earlier today and I understand you guys have this rifle out for a little over a year. I asked question about left hand models and the same thing was mentioned as they are not a lot of us out there. If there is some way we as left hand shooters can have special order and/or what numbers would it take for you guys to make left handed models. As in how many people do you need, to want to purchase a left hand model in order for your company to start producing? I understand we are going through a tough time with this virus and understand is has set companies and businesses back. I just have one suggestion and that is, instead of mass producing or making a substantial amount of left handed A2 models, but to build those left hand A2 models upon order of purchase to make them a special order. Great system and I'm utterly impressed with the new version, design, and yet simple but effective improvements with the overall performance of the rifle. I'm a big fan of Bullpup rifles and they just make sense to have and are a very intelligent and effective design to to utilize every inch of the rifle rather than wasted space. Great model, great company, every time I visit the website and also read on forums, watch videos, and simple inputs of the community. Hope its something you can think about based on the special orders for us guys and gals being the left handers that we are. Thank you Desert Tech.
    Sincerely
    Barry Eheman

At this time, there haven't been enough demand to justify the reengineering and production for it. As with the HTI, several people have asked for it left handed, but there's just not enough demand for it to justify the cost. The original left-handed SRS A1 was made to fit the demand, but even that wasn't quite justifiable. It has been discontinued for sometime now, and we still have units sitting on the shelf that haven't sold.

So will the a2 barrel conversion fit the a1 platform?

  • @MissouriSimpleMan

I am glad they are mostly compatible with the A1 because I have a few conversions with my A1. That makes me want to pick up an A2 covert chassis.

  • @Warhear87

I’m not a fan of the new hand guards for stupid aesthetic reasons. That said, I love how they’re modular. Leaves room for them to produce other hand guards to further “personalize” the platforms. Stay true to what makes it an SRS while still allowing creativity.
On top of that, an accuracy improvement? I was able to shoot .25” MOA right out of the box w my 308. I can’t imagine how that could improve. Definitely considering an upgrade.

I seeing the original rifle back when you guys were Desert Arms and I feel in love with it back then. Now yall made it even better? Just take my money

Chris Contact pump action has no place in a long range precision rifle. That’s absolutely absurd. And how do you figure pump action is better than bolt action with a suppressor? Where did you get that idea from?

    • @chriscontact5857
      @chriscontact5857 5 лет назад

@@ProGunsZach you can shoot without taking your finger off the trigger. Sorry, didnt mean to trigger you. Also in a sixteen inch barrel I would not be worried about extreem long range percision. Troy par is a lot more accurate then I thought it would be.
