Canberra Youth Orchestras - Music under the Stars

Canberra Youth Orchestra presents an exciting performance of Gustav Holst's The Planets, in collaboration with ANU Research school of Astronomy and Astrophysics and Mount Stromlo Observatory on 6 April. A memorable and exciting performance under the stars and will showcase two icons of the Canberra community, the Canberra Youth Orchestra and Mount Stromlo Observatory. The Planets suite, rarely performed in its entirety, is Holt's largest orchestral work, comprised of seven unique movements expressing the individual characters of each planet.
