Sanatana Dharma doesn't tell anybody to follow a path and doesn't convert other faiths to follow it's path. It gives you the freedom to think for yourself and do best. The Gods are people who lived exemplary lives and by their behaviour in their entire lives, become godly. Even humans are taught to live a honest life doing good to others for getting a better next life. If you lead an exemplary life like a Rishi, one can break the life death and life cycle. Sanatana Dharma existed before others can even think of religion and that's why converting concept was unknown as everybody was a hindu.
I don't know why indigenous cultures and traditions not be left to thrive. 1000's of rich cultures wiped out by the gospel preachers😢. Hinduism I don't know how it survived Islamic rule for almost 700 years whereas wherever Islam went for conquering, people got tortured and fully converted within some 15 years. Still Hindus remain at a billion population is a miracle. The more one explores India, the more you understand how advanced the Vedic Rishis and civilization in general was. Ayurveda, Yoga, Vimana Shastra, Mantras (Sound viberation that activates biostatic points in our body for healing), fire rituals ( in a way to cleanse environment with specific ingredients put in the fire during the process) and the list goes on. And western "religions/cult/tribal concept" in essence destroys indigenous civilizations and replaces it with this tribal concept to capture and control cultures and economies. The are levels of Consciousness, being continually purified through detachment cleansing oneself from greed, envy, jealousy and lust, which requires extreme discipline few can overcome. Krishna says, amongst thousands of humans, living beings who strive for perfection, scarcely one or two will know me in truth!! The easiest way to purify one's consciousness is through unwavering devotion, or 'Bhakti'. Devotion cleanses one's heart of all impurities.

Let me tell you, you have many way to be union with god, according Bhagavad gita and vedas there are 4 yog are there: karma yog(doing selfless work followed by dharma without any desire), gyan yog(doing study and research of book like vedas and Upanishads and others as well and use intelligence to inspect), bhakti yog (devotion and Love completely surrender to god and you can compare Christianity and islam with it because it is derived by only believe system , you can believe what ever you want) and sanyas yog (by be a monk like person and break all connections of your to the world and just create a new connection with god). According to adved Vedant, the suffering comes at the very moment when you do ahamkara (literally means 'aham' = 'i' and 'kara' = 'maker' ), Making your identification influenced by the world. According to Advait Vedanta, Ahankara (or Ahamkara) arises due to the misidentification of the individual self (Jiva) with the body, mind, and intellect. This misidentification leads to the creation of a separate ego or "I" consciousness, which is Ahankara. The process can be summarized as follows: 1. The pure consciousness (Atman) gets reflected in the intellect (Buddhi) and creates a sense of individuality. 2. The intellect, influenced by the gunas (sattva, rajas, and tamas), creates a sense of separation and duality. 3. Sanatana Dharma doesn't tell anybody to follow a path and doesn't convert other faiths to follow it's path. It gives you the freedom to think for yourself and do best. The Gods are people who lived exemplary lives and by their behaviour in their entire lives, become godly. Even humans are taught to live a honest life doing good to others for getting a better next life. If you lead an exemplary life like a Rishi, one can break the life death and life cycle. Sanatana Dharma existed before others can even think of religion and that's why converting concept was unknown as everybody was a hindu.
I don't know why indigenous cultures and traditions not be left to thrive. 1000's of rich cultures wiped out by the gospel preachers😢. Hinduism I don't know how it survived Islamic rule for almost 700 years whereas wherever Islam went for conquering, people got tortured and fully converted within some 15 years. Still Hindus remain at a billion population is a miracle. Diety is not equivalent to god. 100000s of Temples in India that were built 2000 + years back is a testament to advanced Engineering and how much they understood the cosmos, planets and soil Engineering including Structural and Seismic Engineering. The more one explores India, the more you understand how advanced the Vedic Rishis and civilization in general was. Ayurveda, Yoga, Vimana Shastra, Mantras (Sound viberation that activates biostatic points in our body for healing), fire rituals ( in a way to cleanse environment with specific ingredients put in the fire during the process) and the list goes on. And western "religions/cult/tribal concept" in essence destroys indigenous civilizations and replaces it with this tribal concept to capture and control cultures and economies. Let me tell you, you have many way to be union with god, according Bhagavad gita and vedas there are 4 yog are there: karma yog(doing selfless work followed by dharma without any desire), gyan yog(doing study and research of book like vedas and Upanishads and others as well and use intelligence to inspect), bhakti yog (devotion and Love completely surrender to god and you can compare Christianity and islam with it because it is derived by only believe system , you can believe what ever you want) and sanyas yog (by be a monk like person and break all connections of your to the world and just create a new connection with god).
