Ok, I first saw this movie when I was a kid, so EASILY 15-21 years ago, and I have seen it DOZENS (seriously, dozens) of times, and I literally NEVER GOT THE "I don't stand"/"Are you making fun of me" JOKE UNTIL JUST NOW (which would be May 30, 2022). I always thought him saying "Are you making fun of me," was just a random line he was saying simply because he was angry, but now I get that it is because of his leg! Him saying "I don't stand," to Zorg, a guy with a fucked up leg and a limp, was PART OF him asking "Are making fun of me." Clearly it's also half what I was saying: that he's just saying shit because he's angry. BUT, there is that other side to the joke regarding his messed up leg, which I'm JUST NOW 'getting' for the first time! So, I finally got the joke 15+ years later after having seen this flick literally DOZENS OF TIMES. I mean for gods sake, just as some proof of that: I just watched it again this week AT LEAST 1.5 times, AND researched all the MOVIECLIPS for it on the MOVIECLIPS RUclips channel and STILL DIDN'T GET IT EVEN THEN! But watching YOUR VIDEO, I FINALLY GOT IT!!!
r u sure? He said, "I don't understand", not, "I don't stand". He said it because he didn't know how the real Korben Dallas managed to take his place. I think Zorg just says "Are you making fun of me" because he doesn't want to believe this guy failed at his task. Explain to me if I've missed something cus I have also seen this movie a lot and don't see what you're saying.
I looked this up because I'm watching Top Boy and for a second I was like is that Dushane? Obviously it couldn't be because he was young when the show came out in 2011 and this was late 90s.
Besides the GOATs of actors Gary & Day-Lewis .....I'm intrigued by this British actor.,.he is brilliant and extremely interesting.......what else has he done?...he should be as big and known as Samuel L.Jackson ...massive unlimited potential... especially with a unique voice like that.....just saying..... peace
0:03 That’s “Tricky” he’s an awesome musician, this was a random cameo even by 90s standards. He was also a member of Massive Attack, another electronic group.
Just as the phone booth is exploding the actor was switched out with a prop mannequin rather than using CGI. I LOL at that particular frame, because bad practical effects have way more character than bad CGI effects.
I love how this sets up that one scene rather later in the movie!

I liked "I know". When we say anything about something we used to answer "I know"
"Are you makiN fun of me?"😂
0:15 Me everytime when my national team didn't make it out from the group stage in FIFA World Cup.

Gary Oldman is like the king of prosthetic acting.
