Thank you for posting Part 1 and part 2 of this magnificent concert. It is always such a pleasure to see the prominent Shardad Rohani performing his awesome compositions. His daughter, Sara, has a marvelous voice. What a very talented singer. The Orion Symphony Orchestra did a superb job as well. Kudos to Thomas Gould, the violin soloist who performed Shardad's newest masterpiece, "Adagio for Violin and Orchestra. The entire concert was spectacular.
It really can be an uphil battle for an Iranian musician, many in the west have this odd and belittling habit of looking down on us, and for many, it can only take one toxic exchange with these people to really hurt on the inside and if youre not careful, you can even let go of much of your passion for the art.... or in fact whatever it is that you might be interested in. This is coming from first hand experience and has happened to me multiple times as a dual citizen whose lived in the US for the past 13 years.
is there somewhere i can check on the name of all the pieces? A program list or something? I just discover Shahrdad Rohani's music today and I think all his music are amazing!
