25 layers sounded so intimidating, but thinking back about all of your work that I absolutely love, I think it is your norm. I really love this page, especially your background.
I just adore your videos and, to put your mind at ease, if old photos of me were lying around just collecting dust, I would love the idea of them ending up somewhere where they actually made someone smile.
Naimh - Wow - I am learning soooo much from you - your style is all your own, and watching you work is helping me find my own. I appreciate your fearlessness, and also your vulnerability. So human, so endearing
It is an excellent book for changing your perception of your own work. I have loved at least 80% of my art journal pages, but I did always feel they lacked structure. So I began a colour exploration journal using Dina's advice, allowing white space. I found my pages improved & I thought more carefully about colour & where I placed my focal point. Looking back at my own work, I'm more critical of what I could have done differently. I feel I've grown. 😊❤
@@deborahruth5072 you will definitely achieve it! The book weaves a special kind of magic on you. It's like a moment when suddenly all makes sense. Happy crafting. 😊❤
Turned out awesome, Niamh 😊 When I first read that section of the book, I thought yikes, how on earth!! But reading it, it made sense. This is the first time I've seen someone use it as a guide for a page. Love it 😊❤
It’s called a fude ball pen- it goes over everything and has quite a broad tip roller ball. It takes a little while to dry but I like it. I tend to use the posca paint pen pc 1m bullet tip in black and white these days though instead
Layers work magic!
