I really like this spread it’s so clever and ultimately colourful. Really like how you use paynes grey instead of black it really works. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful page. I'm relatively new to art journaling, & I often do backgrounds with only two or three colors, so this showed me that I need to get more paint colors & I need to get bolder .
I love your busy backgrounds so much. Last year I walked into an art gallery in San Francisco that was three storeys high with busy backgrounds on wall-sized canvasses. No masks involved either! I was in heaven! Pity I couldn't afford the postage home, let alone the art work...thanks for brightening up another day in isolation 😍
Sandra Wheeler very true- we are so very blessed to live where we do. And when normality returns- it only takes two few to get from my house to Melbourne city centre for all the culture and food I need for the weekend xxx
What was the name of that fabulous heart stencil you used? And I for one, am glad that you've shown me how to fill a page with glorious color but be ok to cover it up. I never would have thought of that on my own ☺
I don’t clean my stencils, occasionally I might wipe them over with a wet wipe. Some people dunk them in water as soon as they are finished, or if you have dried paint, alcohol wipe/spray or sanitizer will remove the paint.
Deborah Davis I use the Amsterdam neons (reflex rose, green, yellow and orange) and I got mine from www.bevscosscrafts.com.au but dylusions have just released her cocktail range of paints which is six neons as well- you may find those easier to source from wherever you get ranger paints from
I have had this heat tool for about 20 yes- it is a ranger heat it tool. They only sell them in the us and Europe now I believe. I coloured it myself with alcohol inks- have a video in here if you are interested
Katherine E Roach it’s a large dylusions journal from ranger ink. Most craft shops that sell ranger products have it. I know that www.bevscrosscrafts.com.au have some in stick and can post it out to you (well they did last week anyway as I bought one). Hope it helps x
Kind of - we are teaching online but our schools are open to essential workers (which our PM has defined as everyone with a job!!!) So we are not sure how many we will get back in class when we return from term break next week. So it is a combination of face to face teaching, plus online, which makes twice the amount of work! Where are you - USA? Stay safe x

Very nice! I like that you left some of that gorgeous background 💗💗💗💗💗💗
Gorgeous page. I love redactive painting, it shows off the background in smaller sections which highlights the colour & pattern. Great quote too. 😊❤

Love the paynes grey, not sure of the spelling.
😁💜👍🏻
How do you clean your stencil from all the acrylic paint? 😅
I don’t clean my stencils, occasionally I might wipe them over with a wet wipe. Some people dunk them in water as soon as they are finished, or if you have dried paint, alcohol wipe/spray or sanitizer will remove the paint.
What neons do you buy and from where? My local art shop has closed probably permanently because of corona. So sad
