Happy Trails guys, Looks like the trail is pretty nice...when I was young kid, we would ski into the apple orchard and make some trails... My Uncle was a Vermont Forester and in the winter he would take me on the Trail Cat into the Green Mountain Forest ( Killington Ski Area now) and I had to paint the trees on either side of the cat with bright orange paint...it would show the loggers how wide to make the trail...I always enjoyed this job to being outside,no nagging mom or grandma, no farm chores...every year I did this I would get $50.00 from the Vermont Dept. Of Forestry...Cheers from Maine
Making a good trail sure make things nice, not so hard on the machines for the rest of the season. I am doing the same thing tomorrow, as the weather down here has finally turned mild and snow is settling. Hope to hang some gear tomorrow as well. Take care out there.
Well I hope you had a good holiday and I hope Kobuck is doing well. Let’s hope the animals start to move and find their way to your sets. Good luck guys and stay safe out there 👍👍
Yes sir, kobuk has been getting out more now that it is above -10. We did another trip that to set bait and make sure gear is all functional and we got one lone wolf on north side of line. See how it goes 🤞🏼
Good video, but did not enjoy the back ground music. Much better to listen to the skidoo and it's motor sounds. Some may like that music, but not all of us. Thanks for putting up the video for us to watch your ventures.
That is such a beautiful place.
