  • My friend wanted a colorful quilt for his bed. This pattern was especially made for him. It turned out so well that we wanted to share it with you too. We want to make it in monochromatic scraps next! We made an official pattern that is for sale in our shop linked below. We included baby quilt sizes and twin in our queen sized pattern. Or, some of you can probably make it just from watching the video if you prefer. It's fairly simple and best of all, it has BONUS half square triangles. We' are filming a future video, making several baby quilts sewn together with those bonus triangles. SO MUCH FUN!

You are SOOOOO fun!! As others have said, I too like your attitude. Quilting isn't brain surgery, and no one will die if the corners don't match. What a great way to use crumb blocks, and those extra little cut off HST's. You're so frugal and creative. I really appreciate you showing how you streamline and prep everything. You are such a good teacher!

OMG! I LOVE this video. I have sooo many left over fabrics. And I didn’t know where to start to organize them. Especially theme/children because of the projects I do at church and theatre. This will make a great I spy quilt for my grandkids and I can do something with all these leftovers I don’t know what to do with !!! Thank you !!!

BOTH of those triangle corners finish the block AND make smaller triangle patches with just another line of stitches 1/2 inch to the tip corner of the whole block. CUt between. Different size hsts can be used for LOTS of other quilts. Don't waste those beauties ))). This is the FIRST video I've seen that mentions this. ))) Just subscribed because of this tip. ))))
