The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stoc,ks, Gold, silver and digital currencies.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

at 12:33 my entry is above your stop loss. 1st we have no trend until that point, and this will be a start for short trend. 2nd in range you should be able to spot high and low and you can trade minimum 3 times but could be much more, it depends on trading session.

I have a question: doing live trading intraday doesnt break the rule of 2-settlement-days and the wash-sale rule? you might do hundreds of transactions per day when you do intra-day trading... so why that doesnt break those 2 rules? does interactive broker allow that with the basic trading account?

It actually pays to be a profitable and very good scalper.
to take a long term trade. You just apply exactly the same principles. The candle structures are all the same. The only difference is the time it takes them to do anything. Any pullbacks could be more significant so you need to do some work and make sure your ass is covered if it does this on you. But yes. going from scalping to trading for days was literally a simple case of applying what worked to the time frame and then learning how much play i had to give it.

Sounds OK, I'll backtest last two method on 180 days crypto trading to see if it really works.
I've tested 3-ema + MACD strategy shortly, I have not implemented stoploss for now. (I'm testing using my own code ).
At first, I have no idea why rise/fall of macd, signal, histogram are needed, it means nothing, just use histogram >=0, it result a little better.
I run backtest for Solana(180d, upto 20221231) using 10 min chart, total trades are 104, win rate is 37.5%,
And accumulated return is -66 %, I gotta say this terrible result come from not using stoploss (lowest ROI was -30.24%, highest was +9.45%).
For 60 min chart, trade number are only 14, win rate 42.9%, total return -36.5%.
I'm afraid to say even if stoploss exists, I don't think this strategy would be profitable. I have no plan to implement it because usually I don't for the results like this.
Tell me if there are any opinions,
(I belive my backtest code has no problem, because I confirmed the result by plotting some of the trades.)
Run it with stoploss.
Solana especially (but crypto in general) is highly volitile. It can easilly drop (or rise) 20% in 1 bar. By the time the bar closes and the indicator acts on this new information most of the drop has already happened and you are in loss.
Stoploss is essential to the strategy, especially with crypto because it moves so violently..
If you secure these moves against you with a stoploss you can profit from it the times these violent moves happen when price moves with you.
Plus since we have been in a bear market you can also only just run short trades. That would increase winrate a lot.
And when we move to a bullish market for a few months again only run long trades.
@@DongWonHanDWONH let me know what the results are if you test with stoploss and the results with stoploss and only short trades.
The only short trades trading will be a winner i think. You can use the 1 day or 3 day chart and crossing of ema lines there to make the bot switch to only short or only long trades. That would automate it completely.

Also, if you want to maximise profits you can open trades on one time frame and use a shorter timeframe for closing signals.
Opening using 1 hour timeframe but use the closing signals from 45 or 30 minutes timeframe. There the ema lines will often cross earlier once the price is over the top and already on the way down. Earlier close often means a higher close and thus more profit.
This doesn't work on every trading pair, so you do need to test for it first. But it can sometimes make 50% difference in the profit being generated.
Only try this if you have a strategy that already works and you want to optimise it a bit to get the most out of it.

IMO its an extremely big mistake to look for entry in daily chart like this. no way but its up to u.i dont think so u can make much money like this. your stop losses will eat up your profit.
