The 1970's was the last great era that saw the birth of soul , disco, funk and rap! There were so many super star musicians that made memorable songs! That was also the era of talented legendary musical bands, like Kool & the Gang, Brass Construction, Parliament & Funkadelic, EW&F, Con Funk Shun, Heat Wave, Switch and Zapp with Roger Troutman ( Yes! Roger Troutman in the 70's was touring the Country playing in different cities before they made it big!) & that's just naming a very few of them! 😎

One of my favorite songs of all time. This song was the Brooklyn’s Anthem played in the club 417 Lincoln Place. Keep up the excellent work my bro. It’s so sad how these two passed away. Something is fishy about whitehead death. I saw the unsung episode on McFadden & Whitehead. Without these two it wouldn’t be sweet soul music. Why sale the building it could’ve been a Museum filled with all the beautiful music made in Philly.
