I use the same setup, but with the pistol mag one slot later on the right. On the first right belt slot, I have a grenade on a carabine hook, because it was to heavy on the harness. And after the mags on both sides, I have two more grenade pouches.
I am right handed with pistols. Therefore have my pistol mags on the left side. I am left handed with rifles though, which is why I have those mags either on the right or on the center. It's a bit odd that I change my preferred hand but it actually happens to be quite usefull haha
@@damnstraight2926 yeah probably has a bit to do with being left eye dominant. But holding a rifle right handed also just feels unnatural to me anyway. And cant aim with right eye. Same applies to bows too. I use bows left handed. I can't hold them right handed at all.
Thanks for the help. Being right eye dominant while being left hand dominant, forced me to close my right eye when aiming, now i can do it with both eyes open, with my right hand. Just have to get used to it.
The way I do it is with the rifle's magazines pointed front-to-back with the bullets facing forward. That way, either hand can get to the magazines with equal ease. I have the pistol magazines on the drop leg platform with the pistol itself. Either hand can access it that way.
So reverse direction mags for pistols can still be installed swiftly if your used to doing it how ever most people should just do it your way if they are just starting or want to reload fast.
@@istillhavetenfingers8150 yeah they are pretty good too. But I prefer the MODEL 773 COMPETITION OPEN TOP MAGAZINE POUCH. I’ve been carrying those for years now and they have never let me down, i can always get that fast reload and those are just perfect for my line of work
because in airsoft I need more mags than I need for a realsteel class. It boils down to lack of space. I also like the fact that no matter what kit I have, I can make everything work because I'm not used to only 1 setup.
Organize your mags how you feel most comfortable. Be sure to turn them the right way and you will be ok. It’s air soft not Iraq. If you were an operator it would matter more but truth is that you have 150 in a mag not 30 so your changing mags less than an actual gun.

I'm the same way. I might be able to hit a barn if I shoot a rifle right handed, but it isn't worth trying

well if u really want sum fast reloads then don't get those pouches. get sum good kydex pouches that doesn´t cover the whole mag

You can also get fabric taco pouches that only cover half the magazine, a.k.a. "mid cut"

why not run your kit like real steal? you get much better in both worlds.
