Constructive critisism: if you are going to review the tablets and compare them, then please *review* them. This whole video was pretty much a spec comparison. For example, do i see a usb port there on the lenovo pen? Does it need to be recharged? If yes does it recharge when atrached to the back? How do the pens feel? Any demostration? Keyboards?......
Damn brother, you're asking him to do work? Btw. I got the Lenovo P12, the pen does have a usb c port for charging. Supposedly is lasts for 36h writing, before requiring a recharge. In my experience, it'll last a few weeks. The pen only charges via cable, the spot in the back is for holding only. Pen feels good imo, i prefer it over the apple pencil. What sucks is the lackluster support by more prominent apps. E.g. Microsoft cannot be assed to get Onenote working with it. The pen writes, but the button cannot be used to erase. So I had to switch to a new app, Notein, which allows for configuring the pen whoever I like. In that app, the pen is amazing to write, erase, etc. Dunno about keyboards, since I don't have one. Here, the lenovo is 280 bucks cheaper than the samsung, so it was a no-brainer to get the Lenovo tab p12.

I got the Lenovo Tab P12 for $244. The takeaway for this video should be whether Samsung justifies costing 2.5X as much. My S6 Lite cost $249 with half the RAM, slow processor, sluggish and ugly software, with a lame small screen. As far as this comparison goes, I think they're nearly the same. However, the Lenovo software seems less bloated and looks nicer.
It appears P12 has better display. I have it show same stuff with P11 Pro Gen 2 and I hardly tell the difference except in the dark The full kit reminds me Toshiba premium netbook which I liked. The only difference was Android T and Windows 7 Home
@@tones1161 It is about as fast as I expected. Sometimes app switching is laggy. But the specs match tablets above this price class. So others wouldn't be much better. The 8GB of RAM makes it way faster than my Samsung Tab S6 Lite 2022. However, general app use and web browsing is very quick. Also keep in mind that the screen is high resolution and the processor is midrange, so pushing the animations will not be perfectly smooth.

Exactly what I wanted :D thank you. The P12 is an amazing value tablet when you pit it against the S9 FEs but I feel like I need the better pen + pen magnet and Samsung UI / OS. Also the 90hz is quite the welcome feature too but other than that it is pretty close.
I picked up the lenovo tab p12 for £280 here in Scotland. The Samsung Galaxy tab s9 fe + is £599 here so i couldn't justify paying more than double the price. I do a lot of drawing in my tablet and previously had the samsung galay s6 lite 2022 version which was a great tablet but i wanted a bigger screen for drawing on. So far the p12 is running great with krita, sketchbook and hi paint so no problems of lag. I thought that charging the pen nd no 90 or 120 hz refresh rate would be a problem but the pen lasts a good few days and the tablet is pretty smooth and it updated to andriod 14 recently and with spport for androd 15 and 3 years of security upgrades to 2027 im very happy wih my purchase

Yeah ive had no problems with palm rejection it works great, bearing in mind in each of the art apps you need to turn on pen only mode to activate palm rejection for them

The pen isn't as good as a samsung pen as they pay to use wacom drawing technology where other companies like lenovo don't but it's still a good drawing experience. The screen is smooth so unless you buy the new lenovo p12 version with the matte coating on the screen which is more costly than the normal p12 and has the same specs it won't feel like drawing on paper. I also added a screen protector on mine and it still draws fine

Also I couldn't hear a noticeable difference with the speakers I don't know why people do speaker reviews when everyone have different speakers on their phones and devices. You don't even notice the differences whenever you guys are talking about the speakers they literally sounded exactly the same. @@user-ed3fj7eq1h I use it rarely but it does the job. I am actually not that type of person that draws a lot BUT if you tell me what to draw and what app to use, i will try and tell you how it works out! :)
P12 is 269$ ATM if you ask for student discount and use EXTRA5 it comes out to 243$ before tax. I own one and at the discount price it's amazing. Also the first thing you should do is disable and delete as many apps as you can Also go into settings and disable some of the AI and assistant and predictive features that are always listening that drain battery. At 75% brightness I get about 8 hours of video playback with apps and intrusive always on apps disabled.

Even price, I'd get the Samsung, cause the pen is better supported. With the lenovo, you have to find specific apps, such as notein, that do support the pen. But with the steep price difference, I don't see a reason to ever get the samsung model.

I am from India lenovo tab 12 costs around Rs.24000 whil pen included while Samsung tab S9 fe plus costs about 28000. I perfered going on with Samsung as Spen replacement are available like wacom pens but not with lenovo I think so...overall Samsung experience is better.

My p12 is super sluggish, is this the case for you? Even just switching through apps is pretty laggy and like using the eraser on notes apps

The best of the Lenovo is, that it is nearly free of bloatware. The Samsung does not.

Why are you trying so hard to make it seem like the Samsung is the better option? From everything you described, you make it seem like they are both at the same level. Except the p12 is way cheaper

I am from India lenovo tab 12 costs around Rs.24000 whil pen included while Samsung tab S9 fe plus costs about 28000. I perfered going on with Samsung as Spen replacement are available like wacom pens but not with lenovo I think so...overall Samsung experience is better.

Samsung is in settings I believe under display, but Lenovo doesn't have a way other than using gestures and then it can go down by swiping down

I tried the p11 pro g2, and it sucked in the interface and performance. I returned it and took p12, major difference and I kept the p12.
