You have literally saved my new small business 100's of hours. Thank you!
Thank you. Just spent an hour attempting this the wrong way. Life saver. R x
This tip is amazing!!!!!
I took a minute or two for me to get the fabric tucked around the chopstick, but after that, it was a matter of just a couple of minutes and it was turned. Thank you so much for making this video.
Thank you!!! Ive been doing it inside out and backwards for the past half hour lol
You are an angel of hand cramp mercy! Thank you so much, forever grateful!
Thanks for the tip. My wife had 10’ of duck canvas being used as a neck tie for an apron. We used a flat fish tape and pushed it through the way you described. Then with her holding the sewn together end I pulled it back over itself. Your tip really saved the day.
After working with a pencil and a tweezers for way too long, I looked up and found your video.Wow. Thanks.
Holy crap. That was amazing and worked like a charm. I spent 30 minutes trying a stupid way and this took less than 30 seconds. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!
What a great trick!!!! Worked like a charm! I didn't have a skewer, but a thin paint brush worked just as well. Thank you very very much!!!!
I was stuck with the tubes, THANK YOU, your method works perfectly. +++++++
Thank you so much for this helpful tip...it's just what I needed to finish off a project!
Thank you so much! I had a really tough/stiff fabric, and the tube was too long for my long pair of tweezers, and after a long time of trying manually to turn it out, when I was able to reach, they just couldn't get a good enough grip. Thanks to your method, it worked out a lot faster than I could've hoped. ^_^ Thanks again~!
Tweezers are GREAT for starting it. Thanks for mentioning, I'd forgotten about that.
Very good - you can do the same with a safety pin - I hate to admit this .... And I have no idea why ... But I've been sewing for over 50 years to a very high standard ... I have only just found out how to do this with a safety pin - I always did it in reverse and it took for ever ... Crazy - well done brilliant!
YOU ARE A GENIUS!! I literally just did it while I was watching you. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you!!! This was so helpful and took only a few seconds!
Only now found this 5 years later but thank you. It has halved my making time.
Thank you ! Thank you for this tutorial! I have been trying to find out how to do this for the last hour and found your site finally !!
Thank you, ma'am! I am showing some girls how to make hair scrunchies and needed a fast, but effective way to turn the tubes!
Oh my goodness, I just took half the day to get a tiny way through and now I found this! Thank you!!
Thank you so much!!! My hands are pain free and so much time saved.
Worked awesome! Thank you for showing this.
THANK YOU! I was going crazy before. And I even had the sticks on hand.
Thank you!!!! I had two tubes like that and after turning one right side out like a stupid for 15 minutes I thought there must be another way LOL I'm glad I found your video
WOW! That took me like 6 seconds to do!! Thank you so much!! I love life hacks!
This method works for a closed end, too. I've used it for both closed- and open-ended tubes!
Best video on the internet
because of this video, this woman will travel first class to heaven!! bless
Very helpful. I have those skewers in my kitchen and now I don't have to go buy some special tool. Thanks.
Thank you! Saved me so much frustration!

I spent two hours the other night trying to do this and failing. THANK YOU for this.
OMG THANKS you saved me a seizure! Bless you!
Thanks! My wife just started sewing, and she had no idea how to do this (not explained in pattern).
I’m confused! How do you “bunch it” and it turns inside out? I would love to figure this out! Help! I’ve rewound the video 3x.
I’m having trouble too!
When you are bunching up the fabric on the stick, the stick shouldnt be inside the tube it should be at the top of one side of the fabric. If that makes any sense 😅

Didn't work for me. I think the ties were too narrow.
Another OMG you have just saved me so much time!!! thanks so much

I am looking for a fabric tube like that. What is it for what should I search or how would I buy one somewhere?
This helped so much. Thanks
Thank you! Here's how to do it with a tube that is closed at one end: don't close the other end! Turn it inside out first, then close.
You're a genius.
I have been doing this all wrong, Thank you so much!
So helpful! Thank you!!
Um..I need help with a really bulky tube of denim for straps on a tote bag. This method isn't working I'm stuck.
Yes this is a good method for light weight fabrics not so much heavy ones. Did you make sure your seam was trimmed to its minimum? and using this method but with a screwdriver! I know it sounds crazy but a screwdriver is narrow, strong and has a handle to help get a grip! I started off using a pair of tweezers too to get the first inch turned to the inside
Did you ever get this figured out? I just finished helping my wife do this with a 10’ tube of heavy duty canvas.
@@ToddSaltzman This method, straight "stuffing", is less friendly on thick fabrics.
For thicker fabrics, it needs to be started, by folding seam side toward tube, folding bottom seam up, grab that with a pair of tweezers to push it into the tube to start its internal path. From there, use a cheap chop stick - non-pointy side. A pointy one may jab right through the fabric.
You can also "start" the tube internal move, using the pointy end of the chop stick, loosely holding the outside of the tube, and then use the blunt end once it's started.
Just made my day! Thanks ☺
THANK YOU FOR THIS. U HAVE NO IDEA
I don't understand how to do I try but I don't get plz help
very slick thanks for that.
You’re amazing thank you SO much for this!!!!!!
Ausome had a a girls dress pattern that drove me crazy. Thanks for the tip. Ddw
Hello all. Any recommendations on doing this with in neoprene tube?
Thank you! this helped a lot
Awesome indeed! Thank you SO much for posting this!!!
Ah clever, thank you!
I have stretch fabric and it does not work.
I used the dritz 3/8 stick from the tube and it wasnt having it. I make thigh high leg ties and its really hard to turn over 72 inches long on those bad girls. I wish they made a long solid wire that is a foot and a half long and has a lobster ckaw or a bodkin type setup to be able yo make it work perfectly.
Thanks for the video though. Cheers❣
Brilliant thank you so much!
Great idea. Thank you so much!
'That's was awesome. Thank you so much!
you saved my life.
Amazing. Thank you!
