Wow, I just have to say how impressed I am with how put together you are for someone who is so sick! You poor sweet girl. You are so brave! I’m 45 and I’ve been sick with a multitude of illnesses, like you, and I’m having a hard time being sick all the time. But I saw you today and started watching, and subscribed. Thank you for the inspiration luv!💜🇨🇦🐾
Yes, any chemist will definitely have them! There are a few brands...libra, dencorub, elastoplast all have them :) The priceline I used to work at sold heaps of them!
the paracetamol tablets dissolve so easy in like 5ml and go down your tube and it's much less volume! all my meds are tablets and dissolve and go down my tube super easy x
Fran Gray, I don't have my tube yet, but have appt. the 29th for consult. Just wanted to say all my meds are already either liquid or capsules which I open and sprinkle the contents in bit of applesauce, or anything soft or pureed or dissolved in liquid.
As someone who has chronic nausea/vomiting THOSE SICK BAGS LOOK AMAZING! I've had to use some creative solutions in my day, and those look so convenient!
Try chemist warehouse for the heat pack, where I am they have them (if you have one near you! There a Melbourne thing but they may have one on your side) x
The brand 'Elastoplast' sells heat pads in Australia. Usually at any pharmacy, around all the sports and injury type stuff. Unfortunately, the pricing totally sucks - but they're there if you're desperate!
I love that pill organizer I have one similar but it’s in a click in case not just a pull out. I don’t have the same problems but I’m on a lot of medicines a day. But I have to put mine in a locked safe since I have a 3 year old. Since my medicine would kill him.
I love your channel and your vlog channel, I don’t have any chronic illnesses but I am really interested in your life and how you cope with everything. Due to my interest, I was wondering whether you would go through your meds and reasons for taking them more in depth?
You're such a beautiful person! I hope all these people here on RUclips can make you feel a little bit better showing love to you even if we don't know each other 💕🌹
I love your pills storage decorations, who doesn't love the good ol' Harry Potter, no? I also decorate mine, keeping it cute with rainbows :) I love your channel, Amy. You show people who suffer from chronical illness are not "poor things", but people like everyone else. Keep it up!
I think it’s so odd how different care is from one country to the next... For instance, the UK and Australia want you to keep your tube stuff sterile where as in the US they don’t because the food and things you eat are not sterile at all so your bowels aren’t sterile and are used to handling non-sterile things.
Bumpy Back Roads your bowel is actually a very clean environment because the stomachs acid barrier kills bacteria and other pathogens in food/feed/fluids etc... so when you bypass that acid barrier you are introducing bacteria that your bowel doesn’t usually deal with and can cause SIBO. If you feed into your stomach it’s obviously fine as it’s the same as eating but your bowel is different 🙂
Chloe Print-Lambert i know how the GI tract works... like i said. i think it’s interesting that here in the US, they don’t require sterile protocol. we flush with water from any normal tap. you clean your stoma with normal water from any tap. you don’t need to wear gloves when cleaning or flushing or anything along those lines unless it is your preference to do so (to keep tummy acid off your hands). this isn’t the only... medical care? sorry word block... this isn’t the only type of treatment in which the US and other countries vary greatly. and that was kind of my point.
I love the top you are wearing. You are so pretty! Great video, very helpful. I know when you are chronically ill you tend to have alot of medical supplies. Thanks for sharing!God bless!Love you!
Münchausen by Proxy sufferers must be perusing these comments sections & videos for all the medical information. Hi girl! 👋🏻 Ps: You’re such a beautiful girl. What an inspiration honestly. 🧡
I would love to see that heat pad because I have found that I can have things shipped in from different places. I am from the United States but have helped other get their supplies in other places.
This is reminded me of how much medication I used to be on Bez of my kyddney stones but now I'm on just víctimas there gross soon were gonna try tablets squished cuz I can't take tablet
since you suffer from low bloodsugars have you tried the freestyle libre? I'm hypoglyemic and it works so well I cannot live without it anymore. I have around 6/8 hypos in the day/night
I'm such a huge fan and I love your channel! I recently got a PI CC line and now I have a lot of medical equipment. This video helped me out a lot, but where did you buy you storage bins/containers? There so cute and I don't want to get ugly plain bins lol. Thanks for making your videos
The new rules are a step toward the creation and development that would make it possible to make a difference for all the countries involved and the people involved to be part in this project in a positive manner in their own country in a way which will help the development and growth in their countries in a way they are confident 10:52
This might come across very rude which isn’t my intention but do you have to pay for all your prescriptions and feeds? I’m just interested that’s all because that would wipe you out ):
Had a pair of panties in a biohazard bag after a surgery. Wonder what people would have thought had they seen it without knowing it was just the bag they had handy.
I don't have all the medical conditions that you have but i have a blood disorder (itp) idiopathic Thrombocipenic purpura it means i have a low platelet count I've had it since 2016 i had to have my spleen removed because of my itp and I've had 11 ivig transfusions and my platelet count hasn't gone back up to normal my platelet count at the moment is 26 my blood specialist said splenectomy doesn't work for everyone I'm unfortunately I'm in the group of people where the splenectomy didn't work when i got first diagnosed in 2016 the blood specialist said it would mostly resolve on its own when that didn't work they put me on prednisone but that made me hear and see things so they stopped the prednisone and stared doing the ivig transfusions then they tried revolade which is a medicine that is meant to help with platelet growth but that didn't do anything so then i had to get my spleen removed which before the surgery i had to get vaccinated against illnesses i could catch after my surgery then i had my surgery to remove my spleen and now my platelet count hasn't gone up since then and because i had my spleen removed i now have a compromised immune system so i can get sick esaliy and get worse if i get sick i also can't take anything with ibuprofen or aspirin i also can't do sports or high intense activity's sorry if its to long to read
Amy, may I ask.... where do you get the urine test strips from please? I have a horrible time with uti's due to my spina bifida and I've had issues with dehydration for the last few years now.
Random, but do british people say “um” or “em” cuz i have a couple online british friends but they type and say “um”. amy is saying “em”.. Is it just an amy thing? 😂💙 Im canadian so forgive me for stupid questions lol im just genuinely curious if its just with a stronger accent or whatever
I am christian and I often ask God why her and not me. I would went for her . I hate living without her . She was such a beautiful angel . I don't ever wanna try to take her place with Sophie. I wanna just go . I love her and just want her to come back . So the world could be such a better place.

Where'd you get your shirt?
I was wondering about your tattoo. I assume it’s a date. If you don’t want to discuss it, that’s quite understandable, I was just curious.

No
Vaishali shiver 15:23

Vaishali shiver
Does it fell weird having a tube
Rachel Jukes it does at first, but after a couple days you don’t even notice it anymore. Kind’ve like glasses or braces 😊 (I have all three)
It does I use to and I hated it I always pulled it out
Why do ppl hide their prescriptions ??
Because it is private information
