How to Make a String Curb Chain Using the Fiador Knot

  • In this video we show you how to tie the infamous Fiador Knot and how to apply that knot to make your own curb chains. This is a pretty useful applications, but be warned. Learning the Fiador Knot is NOT for the faint of heart. Plan to make many mistakes and have to rewatch this video quite a few times. Most who attempt this take a few hours to get it right. So, Buckle up Buttercup!
    To attach this to your bit, you'd simply use the Sheet Bend Knot. I am a very big fan of this type of curb for training because of its infinite adjustability. If you are unfamiliar with how to tie the Sheet Bend Knot, we've got a video for that too.
