    Great Videos, If I have a jeep two door and have the DEI529T, can I use one system where two wires take up the window and the other two take the windows down or will I need to get a second DEI?

    Excellent video and explanation. I'm about to install a window module that have an option for vent (window down 2") or all the way down . The AUX output can only be set to output for 500ms or Latched or output 250ms then output for a programmed number of seconds. . i.e. output for 250ms pause for 250ms then output for 5 seconds. The controller looks for a single button press to VENT and a continual press to let window down. How would I program the AUX output to memmic what's needed to VENT or OPEN? Thanks in advance

    You either use the orange ground when armed wire, if you want auto rollup upon passive arming, Or any negative aux channel on your alarm will work

    Found this video just now lol I bought an RKE system LB-402, and it only has one wire for window rising output, I think this is probably just a one window module or so, but where do I hook that too? Power window switch/up?

    +Lessco Electronics gave a shot at this recently and got screwed by my old Audiovox alarm. Basically that orange wire that's supposed to be ground when armed always reads as grounded [checked orange wire vs ground point in car with multimeter], so it always activates the trigger wires on my 529t modules and the windows are always closing. Tried going another route by using the door lock pulse from the alarm as a trigger, and tying the trigger inputs to the trigger outputs, but that not only closes the windows whenever the alarm comes up, but every time I activate the power locks to lock the door, this has rendered my install useless. Was aiming to have windows close only when alarm is armed.

    your alarm may have a setting to program that double pulse feature (read your manual), if not get a pulse generator to do the job, theyre under 10 bucks

    ok so my window modules work fine but half the time only the passenger window won't go up all the way you have to keep unarming rearming sometimes till it makes it sometimes more then others but the switch is works all the time except had trouble once or twice before the modules were installed, anyway shop said to try a new window motor but I'd like a second opinion, have tried lubing the track with silcone spray but not what you suggested in a previous comment so might give that a try, thanks ahead of time.

    First off THANKS for posting all the videos that you post! Second, I am having a little trouble with my system. I bought two of the four window modules and today I wired up one door to test it out and it worked to an extent. When I arm the alarm the window only rolls up maybe half way. I tried adjusting the power to the window motor on the module but it didn't really help. I rolled the windows up and down with the switch a few time an listened to the motor and what I hear is that the about half way up the motor struggles a little for about a half second then the it rolls up fine the rest of the way. I am guessing that, that little struggle is tripping the sensor and stopping the motor. If you have any suggestions other than replacing the motor because I haven't tested the other motors I would really appreciate it.

      These window rollups have limiters in them either resistance or overheat based, the reason is this: if a hand or arm gets jammed in there while it is closing the module will stop (to protect the person). If your window is just misaligned or stubborn the module will act as if it's a worst case scenario like I mentioned above. My advice is clean the track out and regrease it with some graphite or maybe lithium to ease the stress - That's the answer.

    Great video Im a sub of your channel. Had a question. So I have a 05 tl and oem has the roll down option with oem remote by holding down unlock on second click and all windows and moon roof open. But since I installed a excalibur alarm remote starter i have lost that option is there any way that can be added to my system with out a aftermarket moduler since it had it already?

    Leaving the car and having the windows go up and/or down is nice, but I'm wondering with these devices, will I also be able to control all 4 windows at the same-time with just one of my power window buttons inside the car, or will this feature require another device in order to do this? Thanks. Sometimes when driving i wish to have my windows down but all evenly at a certain depth, and that i could control them with one flip of a switch, because trying to push 4 switches at once is a hassle.

    Where are you located? I live in Mississauga, Canada. I have a 2001 Jetta that I would like to install an alarm and remote starter. I would like to have a push button start. I would like the setup to be so that when I click the unlock button it unlocks all the doors. When I click unlock twice it unlocks the doors and opens the windows. When I click the lock button it closes all windows and locks all the doors. I would like to replace the panic button to be the remote start button, after pressing the remote start button and approach the car and click the unlock button to open doors, I would like to enter and push the start button to keep the enging running which should automatically turn on the parking lights. When I switch the gear to drive the headlights should automatically turn on day or night. When I walk away the alarm should be on and a fail safe mode that kills power to the fuel pump so that if anyone trys to steal the car they won't go anywhere because of lack of power to the fuel pump. In addition, I may install air ride. If someone trys to steal the car I would like the car to sink at it's lowest setting so that it isn't drive able.

    From what I understand, you could conceivably control one window in both directions vs controlling 2 windows in only 1 direction. For instance, I have a car that the driver door actuator is faulty and it won't unlock with the key from the outside. So I would like to control the driver window both up and down so that I can get into the car by remotely rolling the driver window down (upon unlock command) and roll the driver window back up when I issue the lock command. I assume if you have a nice keyless entry system like Viper's 211HV, that you can program it when the car is started that the lock command is initiated and my driver window will roll back up.

    • @Lesscoelectronics
      @Lesscoelectronics  10 лет назад

      That sounds like alot of work to get around the real problem, no? If I were you I'd pull the door panel off and correct the actuator.... and add gadgets as a reward for my hard work fixing it correctly. Sorry to be hard on you, But thats just me.

    • @scotttimothy64

    I was wondering instead of doing two module roll up and down on the front windows. Would you be able to wire in a relay to the arm and disarm wires on the alarm then to the module So the module will roll up and down
    .

    I have a Viper 5906v, Dball 2 & DEI 535T. I want to roll up windows when armed and have the ability to roll up on aux 2 and roll down on aux 1. Do I need to use diodes and relays to make this happen? or is using the interfaces applicable. great videos man, keep up the good work.

    • @Lesscoelectronics
      @Lesscoelectronics  7 лет назад +1

      Well, the up ties into the orange ground when armed, I would tie the aux2 directly in with a 1 amp double diode. Then roll down is dedicated to aux1, that's easy enough...

    Hello sir, love the videos.
    I have a2010 Ford edge with a "smart window". Have you come across this in any of your installs? I can't get anything more then a slight up and down with this window. I believe the actual motor has a printed circuit. There are multiple wires coming out of the mirror. I have the proper wires for up and down, but this window has auto feature. the drive window switch cluster is a printed circuit inside. All other Windows work great. I'm using two dei535t's. Any help bypassing this "smart window" is greatly appreciated sir! Thank you

      What kind of power source do you use to power the windows? A straight wire from the battery, or is there a constant through the window control unit? (I plan on installing a viper alarm system to my car, and add on the window remote as the auxillary). Thanks again.

    • @Lesscoelectronics
      @Lesscoelectronics  6 лет назад

      Most cars with power windows already have a master switch that provide power centrally. But to tie them into your alarm you'll always need a module to handle that job.
