      @@roieis When your underwater, that is the second fastest moment you can go during the race, aside from when you enter the water off your dive. You are allowed to go 15 metres/ yards underwater, so pretty much all elite swimmers are gonna take advantage of that and therefore, just have to swim 10m/yards of each length.

      @@roieis in all pools, you are allowed to go 15 meters underwater. In a 25-yard pool like this one, that constitutes more than half. In a 50-meter olympic pool, it's not as drastic.

      @@ericji7226 Again I'm not an expert and I understand this is the rule and that the swimmers are abiding by the rules. For a non-swimmer like me who happened to watch this RUclips video which appeared on my feed, just using my common sense, that this rule is allowed to stand even in 25-yard pools seems strange and even comical.
