Its consumption is not that bad, 13year old N/A engine. Yeah I'm also used to diesel with 2-3l less consumption but at least this engine is decently fast :)

I drove the 1.0 TSI 110hp in the A3 and with the 6 speed manual it's pretty fun. The turbo lag is very noticeable when you're trying to overtake but once it goes it feels good.
It really does look slow in comparison to other DSG but VAG is known for speeding up the needle so rpms drop faster then in reality maybe they just didnt do that here.
I personally know 3 people with this 1.0 tsi engine, but the 90 hp version. One had the Polo, 2 others have the Škoda Scala. All 3 of them suffered from bad injectors, causing the car to go into limp mode. One guy with the Scala has been to the shop 2 times, they replaced injectors twice, then the suspension started giving him problems, he sold the car. The woman with the Polo has been to the shop 3 tims, twice for injectors, once for something else engine related. She is too now selling the car with only 24.000 km, and ironically buying the new Polo with the same engine again, in hopes the issues are resolved xDD

Für einen Dreizylinder im Kleinwagen schreit der gar nicht mal so arg. Klingt sogar sonor und sportlich, find ich. Besser als der 1.5er 4-Zylinder, der Klang für mich bei einer Probefahrt im Audi A3 obenrum wie ein Staubsauger bzw. wie eine Nähmaschine. Aber über Geschmack lässt sich nicht streiten. Vom Klang her find ich nen alten Volvo S40 II 2.4L 5-Zylinder Sauger klasse. (Videoclip auf meinem Kanal) Das ist aber kein Kleinwagen und der gönnt sich auch deutlich mehr Sprit...
But most people dislike electric cars as they are pointless waste of money as the current generation will become obsolete when they evolve with a better power source. Makes me laugh.

There is a sport mode in dsg. Compared to normal mode, the car goes faster and turns more revolutions.

As long as you maintain it. If N/A 1.2 can give 90hp, whats wrong with 1.0 turbo 110 Hp. The magic is in the turbo, not the 1 cc3 engine
