Heer, ons dink aan Afrika (Plea for Africa) - Mezzo-Soprano Performance by Jacobi de Villiers

One of the most loved South African songs, "Plea from Africa" made famous by Sibongile Khumalo and translated to Afrikaans. I am honoured to bring my own interpretation to this inspiring song. A beautiful and heartfelt prayer for our country.

Why I Love This Piece:
"Plea for Africa" is more than just a song; it is a profound prayer and a call for peace, unity, and blessings for our beloved continent. The Afrikaans translation captures the essence of this prayer beautifully. I am privileged to collaborate with the wonderful organist Erik Dippenaar, whose accompaniment adds depth and richness to this performance.
