Peter the Great was a visionary and was good at administering his empire but in order to accomplish his goals, he had to be ruthless to the extent of killing his own son. Tsar Nicholas II might not be great at one thing, but he showed another great aspect of a great ruler, he ruled his family with love.He was the best dad and husband anyone could ask for,the epitome of a family man.This is another important character that is always expected of a monarchy.
