I have a question, I have a J7 2018 and recently I sent it to repair the display but the glass crashed and began to fall and I have a spare viewer, so I want to know if this process is the same for the J7 2018 and if not there is risk that the display will be damaged by the heat because the part is not original
Can you always see the scratch marks of when you took off the last glass? Cause at the end when the phone is dark I see scratch like marks. Don't get me wrong this beats having to get another phone but if we were to watch movies that have lots of dark night time scenes I'm just going to be staring at the scratches going insane. But that being said thumbs up cause I don't think I have the patience to do it plus I always lose screws 😆

I assembled the new screen WITHOUT REMOVING THE PROTECTION AND WITHOUT ADDING GLUE ONLY TO CHECK IF THE NEW SCREEN WORKED OK. THE NEW SCREEN WORKED PERFECTLY. I disassembled everything again and assembled it, this time REMOVING THE PROTECTIONS. I DID NOT ADD ANY OTHER GLUE ON THE EDGES NOR ANYTHING ELSE. Now the screen isn't working. On the left everthying is white and it doesn't respond to touch. What is broken, the new screen or the motherboard or something else?
I would like to change the front digitizer from the stock white one to the black one and order it from your site. Did you change the glass screen as well? As I would like the logo, back arrow (on bottom right) and windows viewer (bottom left) to appear.
digitizer is the glass and your not heating it enough so thats why your chipping it. Keep device on and if it gets to hot it will shut off automatically so you know its too hot...
Why do you have to take the whole back and guts out of the phone to heat and pry off the glass? Just seems to be a lot of work to not mess with other than take apart and put back together after the glass is back on the front. The only logical explanation of why is the heat to loosen the glue will mess with parts inside.
I haven't gotten an answer back yet but I suspect the circuit board it temp sensitive, I know the battery is. I'm wondering if. Elmers clear glue is safe to use in place of LOCA glue.

It happened to my J6 galaxy phone a week ago. Never the phone had fallen or dropped. Not a single scratch on the body of the phone. Warranty period is upto December 23, 2019 but the authorised service center says it is out of warranty and phone has impact damage internally. I doubt it is manufacuring defect, my helplessness is exploited by the vendor in Kottayam i.e. QRS Retail Ltd supported by the service center and the Samsung manufacturer.

For best results, yes. But you need a UV light to make it harden correctly. If you are accident prone and drop the phone a bit, using 2 sided tape (in most kits) makes it much easier to remove any new screens in the future, but dust CAN get trapped underneath eventually. My wife tends to break her screens twice a year, so I don't bother with the LOCA glue, but that DOES give the best results, as you can see Jerry Mobile do.

How do you prevent the glue from covering the front facing camera? Or does it not matter?
digitizer is the glass and your not heating it enough so thats why your chipping it. Keep device on and if it gets to hot it will shut off automatically so you know its too hot...

I can understand why, you'd remove the battery but why the circuit board? Is it also temperature sensitive?
I don't want to break the front camera, LOCA glue will destroy it so I removed all parts from inside
