and thanks for using open source freely available software such as blender and krita. i think its always a better choice so that everyone can have equal access to the tools.

Odd when i apply the shader the texture doesnt appear anymore but when i remove the shader the tex comes back. I am certain my shader is bare bones like you.. curious
i had the same thing. For some reason the alpha is set to zero when you apply the shader. Just increase that and you should see it. Later in the tutorial you add a gradient for the colour anyway.
thanks for the video, but I really wish you gave more help for people still using the particle system. The vfx graph isn't even available for mobile developers.
I still cant seem to get the shader graph option in the output particle mesh node. Im using unity 6 and it either gives me an output particle mesh unlit or mesh shadergraph. Any ideas?
It's now a checkbox under Graph Settings that says "Support VFX Graph", and checking/enabling it will show a subasset under the VisualEffect asset you can drag and drop into a VFXGraph
@@GabrielAguiarProd is it also possible to make a particle that will go towards the ground at fast speed and leave a trail? Somehow the path must resemle that of lighting...

I would love to see some clever workarounds for not being able to use post processing.
As is the case for a lot of mobile game projects.
There's a trick which consists of having the glow on the texture, and perhaps even the color.

It might be a silly question, but is there a place where I can download the scene you use for showcasing effects?
There is no option for me to to change the "active targets" in the shader to "Visual effects"

It's not that hard actually. It's possible via a Vertex Offset technique. I might do a tutorial about it in the future.
