Such a banger! I can't see the constant cross shopping or alternative to... conversations with these. A GMT Master2 is a sick watch no question but this is a completely different deal. No polish on the all business bracelet, beautiful aluminum bezel, and a movement to rival anything out there (dependability, accuracy). All this at a digestible price. This is an everyday, who cares, I'm Rockin watch. No baggage, no worries, no babying it.
It's most likely my next watch. I own the Pelagos LHD, the new ranger (sold my 39mm Explorer), original BB GMT, and the OG BB41. Sold all of my Rolex pieces because they never got wrist time over my Tudors. People can say that Tudor is the poor man's Rolex, but I can care less. They are awesome watches! My LHD is my backup to my dive computer when diving.
I actually had requested the BB Burgundy when it first came out but when I went to pick it up I changed my mind and bought the Opaline GMT. 😊 I wore it pretty everyday for a year until I got the call for my Explorer 2 in July. It has seen much wrist time since then because of the thickness. I really love the slim case of my Explorer.
I have this watch and just purchased the jubilee bracelet from the AD and it is chef’s kiss. Everyone groaning about it being 2mm thinner never put it on the wrist. Or have too much estrogen in their system. Man up. Do some wrist curls or something.
Going to buy the jubilee style bracelet too. Great idea thank you. Love this watch and i appreciate the extra size weight. I like to feel the watch I have on my wrist.
@@BruceWilliams I think the Longines Spirit Zulu time is fantastic. Especially in the grade 5 titanium. Very similar price (maybe a touch higher) than this BB GMT.
Bruce, I went to the Tudor Boutique in NYC and I tried on this one and the monochrome Black Bay. I feel in love with both of them. If I didn’t have an Explorer II I would have bought the Opaline Dial Tudor. This watch is stunning.

I’m a Tudor fanboy. I have the Pelagos blue date dial, Pro and BB41. I also changed the BB41 to a Zealande. I bought all 4 Tudor watches in 2023, and two of them didn’t come with Tfit. I hope that Tudor does the Tfit to all their watches going forward. Omega and Grand Seiko don’t have Tfit on most of their watches
This watch will be updated with the new GMT movement found on the new FXT. 5752U I believe. It’s 2mm shorter and tighten the bracelet to 21mm with T-fit.
Bruce, I love your channel, but you are so fickle! Just a short time ago you made a video asking if the BB Burgundy wasn't the Tudor GOAT, and now you say that you would have bought this GMT over it. Plus, you don't really explain why you like the GMT better than the BB, aside from emphasizing how you like the opaline dial. I own the Black Bay Burgundy 41mm on the jubilee-style bracelet, at the time I considered the GMT as an alternative, but, while I agree that the opaline dial is beautiful, I decided for the BB burgundy, and have never regretted it, I would always take that over this Tudor GMT.
Another great video Bruce - I love the GMT function and would buy this or the new FXD but unfortunately for me I live between the USA and India ( India is 10 1/2 or 11 1/2 hours ahead depending on daylight savings ) and no one makes a GMT that works in 1/2 hour increments 🤦♂️🤦♂️ - drives me bananas which is why I don’t own a GMT
It feels like Tudor intentionally makes it less perfect, so they always have something to offer in the future. Even the new thinner BB58 GMT doesnt come with the 5 lnk/jubilee bracelet. Reminds of a hot girl in high school playing hard to get 😢.
I’m lucky enough to have both the opaline and black dial versions and love them both - I have 7.5” wrists so the size is fine. As far as 5 link and TFit goes, I understand that the bracelet from the BB41 (which has both) will fit perfectly - that’ll be my next purchase. Great video btw.
I really like this watch although I'm not crazy about the snowflake hour hand. A jubilee or 5 link bracelet would probably move it to the purchase category for me. Thanks for the review, Bruce!

It’s something with similar quality and esthetics, brand recognition, that you don’t have to be paranoid about scratching or getting insured case you get robbed. Basically an awesome beater 👍

True GMT is a misnomer. Flyer or Caller GMT are more apt terms that actually make sense.
I had the original Pepsi GMT Tudor did and loved everything except the thickness. Just too thick to have it stay in the permanent collection. 😢

I bought the jubilee for mine from the AD for $1000. Has the adjustable clasp and looks/fits perfect. Pricey but you gotta pay to play sometimes.
If you travel around the world, get a world timer, otherwise a caller gmt is just fine.
This Tudor lacks vintage warmth and charm. They should have made made the dial a slightly darker creamy color.
The day tudor slim down their BB line, all their older model thick Black bays are gonna tumble in price..
