Pre-ordered in February, still waiting for the package. Now I see it is worth the wait!
Bought an X7 40i in July, ordered it actually since none exist on dealer lots, and it arrived with the charging pads being non-functional as well. To BMW’s credit they did compensate me $400 dollars at the point of delivery with an explanation as to why the wireless charging pad did not work. Still sucks though, especially on a vehicle like the X7, but honestly in my case at least, 1st world problem. But…yeah I’d be irritated too if the ports were just left empty like that.
Just to clarify what's said in the video:
As long as the dish has the right curvature to focus the signal to a single point (the antenna) it can be any shape you want to, even rectangular.
Also, phase array antennas apply only to transmitters not receivers.
If you put an order in before the hardware upgrade and are on the waiting list will it automatically update your order for the new hardware??

The pads are just not connected. Already seen multiple videos fixing this. When they tried connecting it the cords seemed hooked up but weren't. Just press in til you hear a click

As a Tesla driver the 1st thing they do is contact the NHTSA?

Yes, inexperienced Tesla driver. Auto Pilot engage says Use A Slight Turning Force to disengage. Also tapping the brake or AutoPilot stalk disengages. Driver must have panicked imagines turning the wheel needed more than 1-5Nm (1 newton metre of force is about a finger tightening a screw).

Tesla should sue anyone who falsely tries blaming FSD for them having an accident. It’s impossible for the car to overpower the user as has been claimed.
I wonder if it was the lane assist pulling the car back into the original lane. If the driver didn’t grab the wheel in time, that’s the only thing I can think of which would involve the car taking over control. I have mine chime to let me know if I’m drifting lanes, but not to actively pull the car back to the other lane.

It’s not a chip shortage. When Covid started all companies cancelled their orders. So chips that would have been available if they kept their orders would be available. The chip makers then prioritised companies who honoured their commitments.
If Starlink can provide business internet services at less cost than Spectrum, I support private investment
it will be 600 the first month (500 to pay for all the stuff) and 100 every month from then on. (which is great because my internet in Colorado is $120 and its Garbo.)

For some, this is great! But.....I'm an RV snowbird so until it becomes mobile and readily available for purchase, I'm not interested. In reality, at my age (60), I'm not very optimistic that I'll have it before I'm age 65. The global chip shortage doesn't seem to be improving at all which just slows this all down. Maybe Elon should start making his own chips.
The graphic sprites poping constantly in the red frame is VERY annoying and distracting.
I'm calling bullshit on that model 3 fighting the driver for control and overpowering them.
Long on promises short on delivery is Starlink. Once mass production of the new dish and delivery I firmly believe we'll get another gut punch with data caps once mass productions happen. Always big promises then let down. But will stay the course one more time to their communication "mid 2022." Also, if Starlink wants to be honest they would email each subscriber with where they are on the list - time line wise - in our area(s). Starlink really only need enough subscribers to get too Mars the rest is just hype.

This video, whose author gave the size of the U.S. national debt as less than one tenth its actual size, seems to be saying that it is unreasonable to expect Elon Musk's taxes alone to solve the budget problems of the entire United States. NOBODY IS MAKING THAT ARGUMENT.
@@grinpick Instead of looking to increase your budget through tax increases , you should look for ways to make your spending more efficient. That doesn't mean to just outright reduce the spending but to find a way to more effectively use a dollar to make the most impact to most people.
So this has been covered by another youtuber called now you know they do constant tesla news and said this autopilot overriding the driver isn’t possible so highly doubt that report. They also do direct testing of tesla and many other ev cars

FSD does not force correct. It has a physical kill switch based on a very small amount of torque, like an accidental nudge level of small. This is easy BS.

Why doesn't starship flaps rotate so that as it comes in for re-entry it doesn't have to do the belly flop movement to slow down. It just rotates so that the flaps face the ground to produce drag and not have to flip at the last seccond
Because the speed of re-entry will be waaaay higher when it will have to do a re-entry from actual orbit, and even higher when it will reach Mars. So the Starship needs to produce a lot more drag and it needs the heat shield as well.
I gave this release a down-tick because of the flaming crash scene pictured in the introduction as you announced the FSD accident.
