    Tutorial on maintenance and self removal please (if you have time / want. Thank you :)
    Will these ruin your hair if it is thin and you need to put the extension higher up near the top of your head?

    I used to have tape ins but they went so damaged after 1-1.5 months that I had to buy new everytime. And I protected them, treated them well, curled with natural methods, even bought special silk hair band.
    I guess I couldn't find really good quality hair...
    So I quit and have clip ins now, they live longer as I don't sleep in them, don't wash or curl them as much as the others and the price is the same 💁🏻‍♀️

      Personally I’ve used the Donna Bella hair and I’ve been able to reuse the extensions several times so far on my first purchase of four packs of hair I’ve reused them 5 times and still look amazing. Maybe try them..?

    Happy New Year 🥳. I'm so glad that you did this video. I have always followed you and started doing my own hair following your recommendation. I have always wanted to do my own extension but I am on the fence because of the after care. I blowdry my own hair an take care of it and I'm scared of breakage if I do the extension. 🫣 But after looking at your video I might try it. Thanks so much keep giving is your content. Love you. 💗

    I put in tape ins myself years ago. The install wasn't that difficult. But removing the tapes and especially the left over glue was very difficult. I don't think I would do it again.

      Haha my roots were horrific in this video but sometimes this is the reality even for us hairdressers.
      Once you have grays i think a but if balayage or highlights is essential. Even if you tone them down to a bronde shade as I have

    I tried tape ins a few months back for the first time and really liked them. I would love to try them again but I had the hardest time removing them. The hair would remove fairly easily however the tape was left behind. I tried several different products but still the tape remained. Do you have any suggestions? Was my hair maybe too clean when I put them in? All I did was wash my hair and blow dried not using conditioner or products before I applied. I then set it with a hot iron. Did I maybe hot iron it too hot?

      What works me is oil, no matter which one. Apply, leave it about 10 a minutes and go for it. My hairdresser once had a hard time with the tapes and she used a detangling spray

      Did you use a remover solution? The one from hotheads is incredible

    • @lisarast1853
      @lisarast1853 Год назад +2

      Yes I tried c-22, alcohol, a couple other solvents and let it sit for about 10 min. I applied them on clean hair that wasn’t conditioned. They stayed in amazingly the whole time and were really hard to remove. I will try the hotheads 😊
      Thanks for the help

      I use Walker’s Beautify Extension release. Most of them are basically the same formulation. They slide right out and then I coat each section with coconut oil that I scoop out of a jar. Comb it through and let it sit. It gets the rest of the residue and deep conditions the scalp and hair.

    Elle I have a quick question, my stylist accidentally put a 5NN goldwell color on top of some of my blonde that I wanted to keep in the front of my hair. I’m really missing my blonde but it’s been bleached and toned and then dark on top ( didn’t understand that at all) I’m wondering if I did a vitamin c and head and shoulders shampoo method if it would take out my dark and go back to blonde? Idk what to do 😢

    • @inariblue9441
      @inariblue9441 Год назад +1

      It would lighten it yes but may leave a lot of warm undertones.
      Maybe talk to your stylist about this?
      That way you can leave with the blonde you want ☺️

    I’m not so sure non-trained people should attempt it. If your lines are straight, sections sandwiched aren’t precise with the correct amount of hair, and the type of extension is too heavy for the type of hair it’s being attached too, they could run the risk of A LOT of damage. Don’t you think, Sylvia?

    Hi Sylvia! I hope you see this and can respond.. but I am trying to get the hair color and placement as you have and just not sure what to ask my hair stylist.. can you help with how to explain? I’m guessing honey bronde balayage with blonde face framing and melted chocolate roots? 🫤 I am not the best at this.. any help is appreciated!
