Koopa Kids are Bowser minions. In countries outside of the US, they were called Baby Bowsers in the first few Mario Parties. Koopa Kids are not implied to be children of Bowser/King Koopa.
The Koopalings, as in the minions with unique looks, are also Koopa Kids. They are typically portrayed as siblings, but again, are not children of Bowser.
Baby Bowser is Bowser as a child, like Baby Mario.
Bowser Jr is Bowser's child.

Platy: refuses to throw a capsule trap in front of ze and ray because he wants to help ze win.
Also platy: steals all of ze's coins so no one but ray can get the star for no reason.

Platy has been really gunning for this in-person game. I say you should accept it and just have a spray bottle that you are allowed to use if somebody takes longer than a minute on their turn.

Watching from his stream, there was a simple minigame where he jokingly acted like he didn’t understand in reference to him needing the rules explained, but no one really picked it up. For the most part though he’s usually distracted by chat.

@@blubber1239 I do agree and think he should try to only read chat during his turn so he doesn’t miss anything. While it can be frustrating, I suppose I’m mostly just used to it since I’ve watched him just as long as I’ve watched Ray, but he at least does better at picking things up in this than he did in Mario Kart.
Another issue is him saying he understands or is ready, then _immediately_ asking what the controls or objective is when they enter the game. He's either lying about being ready or has the memory of a toddler lmao

Max needs a delay of game penalty and Ze needs a “didn’t pay attention” penalty.
2:33:30 made me laugh so hard I started getting chest pains and had to lie down. Watch the screen on the left, turn up the volume, and listen closely to hear Max scream as he repeatedly fails to pull off a basic task most small children can complete on the first or second try.
In case somebody missed it from the end of the stream they announced a 12-hour Mario party Marathon on October 13th. All stars will count towards the tournament.

That was the entire point of the 'stop using them, throw them on the board' comments.
to be fair the orb system in mp5 just wasnt as well thought out. mp6 did better by having all the orbs be either "orbs that you throw" or "orbs that you use" instead of confusing things by having a lot of them do both and not making the incentive for throwing them clear
I would argue, some of the orbs (or capsules in MP5) are better if you pay to use them on yourself instead of throwing them on the board. Like the blue and green capsules. Even the paratroopa, magikoopa, bullet bill, and ukiki can be useful to screw others from getting enough coins or items to get to the star if used right.
Just seeing how chaotic it was from their stream made it really entertaining to watch even if the capsule system from MP5 wasn't great.
I genuinely think Ze is not enjoying these games. Not even shiting on him, I just think he is having zero fun, and is only there to hang with his friends.
Chilled or Ray talked about maybe doing this again next year, and I wouldn't be surprised if Ze says he doesn't want to

Chilled missed out on solo'ing that last orb star just by skipping his last-turn orb. Kinda wild how small mistakes like that can shift the whole game (made his +1 star a +1 for two other people).
He's the reason Ze won pretty much.
Mario Party Drinking Game Rules
1. Take 1 shot every time Ze fails to understand how to play a minigame because he wasn't paying attention to the others reading the rules
2. Finish your drink every time Ze blames everybody else for him not knowing what he's doing
3. Take 1 shot every time it takes Platy five minutes to do the most obvious thing he could do.
4. Take 1 shot every time something happens and Chilled repeats, "this is a fucking nightmare" at least six times in a row.
5. Finish the bottle every time somebody blames their shitty performance on Ray's "luck"
6. Take a shot every time Ze asks which game introduced the ally mechanic.
I gotta say, I didn't know who Max was before the first stream, but now I think he has such an irreplaceable energy. these would absolutely not be the same without him.

In these later GameCube Mario Parties, orb selection and their prices vary depending on what place you're in. If you're in first place, orbs will be more expensive and you won't have as good of orbs as others. If you're in last place, orbs will be cheap and/or you'll find the best orbs in the game more easily (for example, the Flutter Orb). They went with this to make the Mario Party item reward system similar to the Mario Kart item reward system - the further you are from first place, the better items you'll get.
I can't wait for them to get to Mario Party 7. That stream is gonna be completely nuts.

From what I hear most people consider this one the best in the series (which I completely agree with) so I’m glad he had a ton of fun with this one

If you still playing Mario Party 6, i recommended you this one map for underdogs which is "Faire Square". A very high scoring map, you can get up to 10 stars in this map, because the price of stars is always change at night. In addition to that you can buy up to 5 stars and the star spot doesnt change.

Pretty much. I’d assume it’s a streaming habit of his. Anytime they linger on the rules he’ll read it, but if it’s one they go through quickly he’ll miss it.
That's fine but when ray say you need to get oxygen twice before the game even starts shows the incompetent of listening or paying attention.

Snowflake lake is probably my favorite map in this one, anyway just another day of Chilled getting terrible roles, Ray’s amazing luck, Ze not reading and being weird as peach and Platy partial scheming which doesn’t really work in his favor.

Ray, the mini game at 39:20 doesn't take you out until you hit the blue ball of electricity. The lines only stun you to slow you down.

Mario party tournament, aka ze refuses to read the rules
Loving this series!! I was never able to play Mario Party 5, 6, 7. I really missed out on this one though. I love the day-night cycle that affects the boards, events and mini games. Orb system is polished and rewards you for using them, like the coin star is replaced by the orb star. (I usually experience that if you won the minigame star you'd almost always get the coin star).
But one of the most joyful and best things about playing Mario Party games is the first time experience and learning the boards. I definitely felt that watching these boys this game, so for that I thank them 🙂

I'd have exploded and lost my shit everytime Ze 'doesn't read the rules', like dude, read chat when it's not your turn, it's really not hard at all. It's fun otherwise, but god that pisses me off to no end, like he's spent 25 hours~ in the tournament so far, like DUDE, READ.

Platy's house rule to not overwrite orbs would have been great. I mean they all loved it when it happened in the last five turns a few games ago.
