This game came down to coaching and preparation. Lakeland boys were better coached and prepared. The talent was pretty much the same. Zone blocking and pulling, is crazy man. Good stuff! 3-5-3, three dawgs up front, blitzing those linebackers… this was a good game. Florida is Florida, no matter where you’re from, anybody can get it💪🏿
I miss when Miami Central had that running back system smh that's what the program was built on... Yea Cent had their two or three wide receiver system but Cent was built on Running Backs and The Trench.... They got work to do.. just like what Coach said going into the playoffs "we got practice in the morning gentleman"

Went down to Traz and stood on biz. Came back up to CF where the competition really began and had a REAL slugfest with Lake Mary. Shout out to all of CF!
South Florida have the best football players Miami Dade County and Broward County, but Lakeland came to play this game versus underman central Rocket 🚀.

Johnnie Mack, Johnnie Jones, and LaRonnie Gallishaw. That was one of the coldest backfields Florida has seen. I was in college in Tampa at the time. I loved watching them boys play. I still regret missing that 1999 regional final between Lakeland and Hillsborough. I tried everything to get off from work so I could go. I'm still praying that someone will post more of Lakeland's games from 1996 through 1999. Especially that one. Hillsborough and Lakeland went at it.
@@JohnDoe-eu9yf I remember hearing about it all week from my boys who were able to go. Two of them were from Lakeland. They got to the stadium about 5:45 and still barely got seats. Almost the whole Buccaneers football team and coaching staff were in attendance. 19-14? To me, that was the true state championship game because Lakeland mopped the floor with Rutherford even without Johnnie Jones. I check almost every week praying that somebody upload that game. That was the definition of a Florida classic and I missed it. Had I known that I would end up quitting that job like a month later anyways, I would've followed my mind and quit then to go to the game. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

They ain't got the best they got some na they ain't all that
# 7 on Miami Central Definitely a Weapon... Our Canes can use him in the future. Good Game Tho
Lakeland was missing some starters on offensive as well.
Man Lakeland talking all that mess and struggling to stop the crossing route... Central beat themselves... Keep that same energy come October
A bad game from Lakeland still resulted in a win after two years of smack talk from Dade County.
Miami was talking reckless in pregame like Lakeland had no chance😂 they got humbled
I’m no fan of either team but Lakeland looked like the better team. Those 3 fgs could’ve easily been 3 tds had it not been for a penalty
We dnt play each nomo
Polkway was right😂
When you right wit Polk, you can't go wrong.
Central hasn’t been the same since the old coach left. This staff inherited talent. They lack the ability to develop talent.
