They‘d have to be pretty freaking stupid to shoot down their own AWACS, those things emit enough electronic emissions that the best comparison would be to call them a "lighthouse" in the electromagnetic spectrum.
A SAM operator with even the most basic of RADAR training should be able to recognize that something emitting that much electromagnetic "noise" far behind friendly lines can’t be anything but a friendly AWACS.
Doing it TWICE only weeks apart would require incompetence of a level so advanced I wouldn’t be surprised if the SAM operators suddenly forgot how breathing works.

pooks sams are abit buggy and the weird custom smoke effects he has for missiles causes the game to stutter when they fire, especially the Patriots, S-300's and S-400's
