Maybe you cud a quick pop up pictures of what you guys are talking about so we have an idea. Had no idea who/what was talking about for certain parts.
Christian doesn't know this bc haven't run into each other in a while but when I was 19 I used to go to every event Christian had. I would talk about what I wanted to do, how I was ready to drop out of college to pursue something of my own. And Christian said one thing to me that changed my entire life... he said "You have nothing to lose. You are young, you have no kids, you're not married, you don't have too many responsibilities.... NOW is the time to go for it. NOW is the time to just go all in" And I did. I dropped out of college, I went all in on my business. And at 21 I was makin $50k/mo as a fitness coach online. Now Im 25 and I am running a 7 figure business. I can't thank Christian enough for the impact he's made in my life.

Maxx having to continually, subtly remind Christian to talk into the mic and Christian constantly fiddling with the things on the desk are the most underrated parts of this episode.
I wouldn’t even be mad if the podcast was these two all the time with an extra guest or just their takes on certain topics 😂 synergy is so good

Good podcast, I know it will get better. One critique is not letting a guest finish a thought. Ask the question and consider once the question is answered giving a slight 2 count pause to see if anymore info comes out. Makes for a great conversation. One last thing, try to not compare times in your life to a story that's being told.
Let's hope he will get better following this advice. Otherwise I do love this pod.
I can proudly say that I have been watching Christian since 2012 religiously and I still remember when he clicked mouse button to order equipment for his first gym.
And literally saw both of you max and Chris grow together... many friends came on and kinda left but you two stayed consistent and that's what made you both king 👑

I was in my early 20s then and now I'm 31, almost the same age as Christian and its beautiful to see you both entering your 30s.

Congrats, not a bad first episode! CG is very humble, which contributes to his success because he's a relatable persona. I'm glad he always mentions the same names when discussing his origins... its like he will never forget where he started, very inspiring!

Man, talking about the older days of fitness youtube...I miss that so much!! The fitness videos from like 2014-2016 was peak. That's what really got me more into going to the gym!
And the part about getting into this for money, it just sucks because literally nobody can afford to start something like this without the money. Nobody can afford to do something for fun and to not make money.

Having graduated college and taken on a lot of “adult responsibilities” I’ve found it really hard to keep up with RUclips as much, especially the vloggers I used to watch so consistently. This feels like a very natural evolution for the Maxx Chewning brand, so I’m all for it.
If I had any suggestion it would be to stay way on top of the audio quality and mixing. Good, crisp audio with attention paid to details like normalization is so much easier to consume.
Brilliant introduction to the podcast world! The format is great - flow between Maxx and Christian is obviously fantastic. You've both been so influential to me over the years, the content is really interesting, but it still feels like sitting down shooting the shit with friends.
Loved the podcast Maxx! Feedback: If you could somehow tone down the base in your voices that would be awesome. Headphones there's really no issue but listening to you in the car it gets a bit drone.
Worth the wait! Don't give this up Maxx, it's got all the potential to grow and be so dang successful! Very entertaining, love the way the conversation flows vs just question answer format that some podcasts do, video quality is spot on keeping the person talking in frame, audio was also great for the first podcast!
I started watching Christian since 2013 and Maxx on 2014 during my highschool days. Their growth is truly inspiring and will definitely be looking forward to future podcasts.
I always love intros that take a clip from the middle of the podcast. (Definitely made me want to listen specifically for that clip)
I like how you had a list of questions. But if someone went on a tangent you both let it ride. But if you really wanted an answer to the question, you made sure you went backtracked.
I like hearing some of the inside story’s of UP, creation of alphaland, But also each other’s perspective from the supplier situation.
I really appreciate how you didn’t ask Christian about how he started Alphalete.(The information on that has been asked/told on other podcasts and videos) but rather some of the specific story’s involving the creation.
Quality is fantastic. Video/ audio are 10/10. Maxx you come off like this is your 100th episode. Length of the video was perfect, didn’t feel rushed or dragged on. But did leave me wanting to hear more. This podcast feels different from others in the way that listening in, the viewer will get to see slightly different side of the interviewee.

I am grateful you both keep creating content because I can understand how much you both care about leaving an impact on others and guiding others to be the best. It is touching and inspiring! ❤ I want a lesson from Christian one day on how to visualize better. You guys have a great personalities and friendship! I was around for the early days and this is sooo nostalgic to watch. I was sub’d when Christian ordered his first set of equipment and CG Fitness was booming out of the garage. I remember Max getting fired loool. I’m no longer super into fitness like I used to be but still hit the gym 3-4x/wk and check in on you guys periodically. This convo hits and I’m so glad you put this together. Much love dudes!
This was a solid episode. Casual, funny, but also addressing some good topics. Brings back memories of watching videos from back in the early days and where things started. Amazing to see the growth and progress.

Joe Rogan was just talking about how he likes fitness influencers on his podcast last week, if you were able to be a guest in his podcast, that would be a great way to get your podcast more reach to a massive audience. Also, he is in Texas now. That would be crazy, I would push hard to try to make that happen Maxx.

max just set the bar so high for other podcasts, no other podcast I know of that is so easily consumable and shot/done so professionally. the quality of this is insane

It’s cool hearing about how much you guys inspire each other.. so much you talked about that resonates with my career on RUclips. You 2 inspired me in 2016 to start my channel, and while my channel is still not big it is my fulltime job now and has allowed me to open my own gym in Chicago. I remember when I started my channel, there were no questions of “how do i start” it was just.. pulled out my iPhone and started talking to it. There’s great value in learning as you go and I think that is something that paralyzes the people of this generation, they want the answers now, they want to be told exactly what to do, they want their hand held… maybe it’s always been like that and that’s what separates entrepreneurs from employees… anyways, great episode and I look forward to future episodes

That's SO crazy you guys watched Matt Ogus too. He was the actual FIRST RUclips fitness person I EVER watched. I was on the path of trying to turn around my diet and so watching his grocery haul videos, even if I live in Canada so half the brands/foods you guys can get aren't here, were so informational and inspirational. Love hearing you guys talk. So easy to listen to and just enjoy while working.
You should timestamp these with the topics you are talking about, I don't have an hour to watch stuff each week, but if you mark the topics I'll check out the ones that seem the most relevant! :)
