Going through the chord shape learning phase what really is working for me in G chord is I take that as one grip pinky and ring finger comes together first then index & middle comes right after those at once

Stronger doesn't decide how to hold a chord. Stronger just tells you which finger comes first when you switching. Why the A major is better played with middle, ring and pinky and not index is a separate discussion
