Offset Text in Cricut Design Space 2021 Update

- Yay Cricut has finally given us the ability to offset text in Cricut Design Space in 2021. So we no longer have to use special apps or fiddle around trying to make an offset on our own.
Cricut will even allow us to offset images and offset our offset! It's a lot of fun, but still a little glitchy.

THANK YOU! I've always wanted to offset but new it wasn't simple with Design Space. A project came up that I couldn't avoid not offsetting text if I wanted it to look how I wanted. I had no idea Cricut had added the offset feature, so THANK YOU for posting this video!!!

I am shocked. I have looked for how to do this for at least a month, and I knew it must be pretty simple because people always skipped over it in tutorials and just came back with the vinyl. Thank you sooo much for the video. I didn't realize what the offset button did and I've been using the Phonto app doing one word at a time and having to email it to myself, then download it into my google photos and then upload it into Cricut. This cuts my time by 90% at least in doing this. Bless you!!!

Woooooooooow .. when this update came out I was buying a house so I TOTALLY missed this feature 🤦🏽♀️. Thankfully a friend told me about offsetting. This is a GAME CHANGER! Ugh I can’t wait to start using this NOW!!

@@DailyDoseofDIY unfortunately even with the windows 10 updated on my computer (64 bit) I still can't get the offset to run. It shows on my canvas but doesn't work. Of course it works just fine on another windows 10 computer but that one isn't near my cricut machines and isn't available for me to use.

Helpful video, thanks for posting! Do you by chance have a video where you make something with such a design? I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how it looks. TIA! Also, is there any type of image that works better than others for this feature? I.E., filled solid vs individual parts placed to make a whole image, etc. TIA!

When i just got my cricut i was fooling around with features and i ran into to this but for some reason i didnt remeber what i did to get the off set feature lol thanks so much video is so vivid, i laughed when saw that it was so easy thank again

Thanks for the offset feature tutorial. I do not have mine as of my update today, maybe tomorrow. I can't wait to get this. I was hoping to have today because I am making a sympathy card and all of my stamps/dies for sympathy does not have an offset for them so I guess I will do as I have done in the paste is fussy cut around.
I went the the adobe.com fonts tab above that you linked but I must be blind or something. HOW DO I DOWNLOAD OR GET THE BISTRO SCRIPT FONT? I looked everywhere for a download button.
When using HTV, do we still have to cut out the vinyl where the top layer lies?

I’ve noticed if the image isn’t from design space and you take from google the offset feature doesn’t work with it

Well that's a bummer! As I said in the video it was being super glitchy for me when it first updated. Maybe try closing out of design space and re-opening

Can I use this method for cutting out layers in cardstock to make a card. I want to do the word Love Love Love stacked up on eachother and have different color layers in background and make a card on my own. Am I making sense. I hope so

What kind of device do you use when you're in cricut design space because I use a Samsung galaxy s21 phone or a Samsung chromebook and my design space looks nothing like your design space and it doesn't have the offset and all these other features that you are showing?
I have the offset button. And when I click it, it does nothing at all... No matter what font I use. Like since the update, it's never worked.
