I was fortunate enough to play football for Ohio State in the mid '80s. The stadium then held about 90,000 people. But today it has been upgraded... The stadium currently holds about 103,000 fans. The band has always been awesome! Go THE Ohio State Buckeyes tonight in the national championship game!
Ohio Stadium holds 105,000. The band performs every game with very few away game exceptions. Ohio State just won the National Championship in football on Monday. Go Bucks!
@ there is over 105k almost every game. I know that media are included in the attendance. I can’t believe you would reply to correct me for a 2,220 discrepancy. It’s called rounding up.
I’d love to see you react to Kearney High School marching bands NSBA performance “The Arena”. We’re one of the best high school bands in Nebraska with a tradition of excellence that spans decades. As a program we’ve marched in some of the biggest parades in the country including Disney World, Rose Bowl, and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parades.
So, if you want to see a game with a marching band, they are at high school and college level games, not NFL. This is because the band members are affiliated students of the schools, like the players.
Off to the right side dressed in all white......those are some of our U.S. Navy personnel. The stadium holds about 110, 000. The end that has the high bleached seats and scoreboard on top has been added since the stadium was first built in a horseshoe shape. That is way its nickname is "The Shoe". The home games are when the band does its famous 1/2 time routines of movies etc. They do the small script Ohio at every game, home or away, before the game begins. The home team always does the 1/2 time show. It takes hours upon hours to learn a new 1/2 time program routine. I do not know if they ever repeat old routines.
Pretty sure that the marching band plays every home game and some away games as well as competitions throughout the season. Greetings from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, we’re in a deep freeze here with temperatures getting to 25 degrees below 0 tonight. Blessings.🫶🏻😊
Those are spats covering their shoes, part of the uniform.

No it only holds 102,780. But it does commonly have around 105k in attendance. Go bucks! 2024 champs! O-H

This angle was a bit pointless, as you couldn’t see their routine, nor hear them playing! The only thing was seeing their entrance!! So what!!!
