camaro toast. its not gonna be fast like it wouldve been with the factory coyote that was in it.
@@carculturenation2166 she is talking about the drag strip but it’s not gonna hold down the torque/power. But yes, the setup is very similar to Toast and Warbird etc. we will see if it makes an appearance at Cleetus and Cars Bradenton in a couple weeks!!

To get the powersteering working on the mustang you need the reluctor wheel off of the crankshaft that the 5.0 has. Motionautotv figured that one out for his 2jz s550

other than the hoonicorn, this is probably the coolest, most insane mustang on the planet
for burn outs yes looks like a hotwheels lol For speed not so much. there are so many badass mustangs out there was faster and look great in there own respects. david van voris just finished his 2018 at tx2k and basically went to test and tune wasnt really ready for competition
it looks sweet. it ran low 8s high 7s on the factorysealed engine and mid 7s on a little bit of a built engine. well now its solid rear axle fully built one big single turbo and he ran 8.1 not trying and will probably be a 6 sec car capable of 2500hp and it all fits under the hood.

It was great to see you letting the young ones sit in the car, my dad does the same with his ‘55 Chevy. So often car owners are so worried about scratches or smudges, they forget that in order to keep the car culture alive we have to get the next generation hooked early.

Cut a hole in hood then cut hood in half from front to back and hinge it on both sides of car. Like a old model t or something
The Stang is definitely gonna need all the drag suspension in the rear witha set of 2k rear axles and some bias ply slicks to be able to hook at the track

@@jkfonyi i have no clue but bias plys are better for manual cars in they have side wall wrinkle and there not such a hard bit on the transmission and drive line
The ultimate Hot wheels! I have a bad turbo fever, have been buying engine parts like crazy, wiseco pistons, h beam rods, bearings, mlst head gasket, ball bearing turbos, 3 plate clutch and the list goes on.
That first burnout had every Australian shaking their head lol

But if a kid asked to get in my car at a cruise in or drag race , some times even let them Rev it .
I'm not sure how the Mustang power steering works but on the older GM steering we used power, ground and then a variable resistor to adjust the steering sensitivity in our buggies. I'm sure it's possible in the Mustangs too if not modify a steering unit out of an old GM system.
Mustangs use EPAS, electronic power assisted steering but I assume that it's not even hooked up but more than likely it's not even bolted into the car. TBH is it's a track car then no need for it.

The fact that this is a stick shift takes this build to a different level.
In my old racing days, “80’s”, I bought a used LINCO transmission from Bob Glidden, drilled and tapped it and ran through an automatic transmission radiator cooler. Loved it. The only drawback is that it used a one-way sprag, which means that when you “lift”, there is no deceleration. There was an issue with band-wear though…

When testing high torque cars like the Mustang have you ever considered using a dyno that connects directly to the wheel hubs instead of the roller style dynos? It should eliminate the wheel spin issues that you have with a roller dyno. I hope everything goes well with Phoenix. Looking forward to seeing more of her.
She has used a hub Dyno before. Just not in that car.

It will help identify weaknesses in your drivetrain which on this car is going to be axle stubs, unless I missed that upgrade...

I think everybody's eyes were on you "fire-breathing dragon" as it was put during the show. It's good PR and turns a lot of heads. Best part of this episode was the ending epic burnout. It freaked every one out.

You need to take this Mustang to Cleetus and Cars to be in the burnout competition!
The EPAS has to have at lease 12v and the CAN Bus high and low need to be plugged in. That's all it needs for power steering, I did that on my Coyote Swapped 2005 mustang with a 2013 EPAS rack .
With all of that low end torque, you technically don't have to start in 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Just launch in 4th! No shifting needed! 😂

gotta see some 1/4 mile runs. curious what its gonna do compared to a supercharged or turbo coyote. The coyote that came in the car is capable of 7s and 8s in the 1/4 mile with boost fuel and built trans. Stock sealed coyote motor makes up to 1200whp No heads no cams no pistons no rods. F150s you can do the same and run 8s. turned down to 950whp mustang gt run 8s no problem. So curious of a comparison. Basically burnout rivals car like toast. still want times
It conna do 10sec quarter with that sticky trans but a traps over 160.

@@regno78 lol nope. gearing aint ready for that. honestly sandy wasnt lying about the race with the ecoboost. what makes coyote variants like the engine that was in it and the gt500 predator which is a coyote variant is not having so much torque they move off the line without going up in smoke and they rev high and are great at the end of the track. the way its setup and running i say it will run 12s 13s in the 1/4. she is only gomma do 1/8 mile im sure. big block are all low end torque monsters. so no way its gonma trap 160 in the 1/4. with a stick tire she is gonna be rolling into it for traction. Its kinda how you see hellcats all that power get beat by naturally aspirated mustang gts all the time at the track. suspension tune and bold ons these mustangs can run 10s. now she has a anchor on the front less aerodynamic factory suspension balance is way off and depending the gearing between trans and rearend and now torque. Basically all the Characteristics that make these cars good is now gonna be different. It can be bast but its gonna need work. first thing is building that engine for more power. i believe she said this engine can only make 1000hp the way it was and then takes toms of hp to turn the blower. So numbers show it needs a build to get this power up simply cuz you gotta make more hp than a stock sealed coyote she pulled out can handle. 2nd i would try to get that motor lower and set back more. then ditch the irs and go solid rear axle. suspension ture driveshaft gearing amd she said the motor was hurt so who knows.. for what she paid for this motor she couldve built this thing to be a 6 sec mustang with the engine that was in it. But anyone can do that. Most youtubers are going for the wow factor for views. Can this setup be fast?!? yes. But the engine she had in it couldve been built to handle 2000+hp she couldve slapped one big turbo on did suspensi9n fuel system and cage. but she gets burnouts and wow facyor with this

tbats what i said. its basically a burnout rivals car. there is plenty of these mustangs making way more power running 7s and 8s in the 1/4 with just a drag pack and drag radials and slicks with the factory sealed coyote. just fuel and boost no heads no cams no pistons no rods. 1200whp with sealed coyote and coyote variant can make up to 2500 hp with the factory block. basically this is a big heavy engine more less built for burnout rivals i would imagine. because coyote gets these and other mustang into 5s and 6s in the 1/4. Joel steele just got his boss mustang s197 with a coyote into the 6s. first domestic H pattern stick car in the 6s. so shows you how good the motor is she pulled out.
