During 1945 the resistance movement blew up a railroad brigde near Guldager station leaving the 38mm guns stranded and they still lay there when the war ended , one gun barrel was moved to Copenhagen on a speciel Wagon that was lented to the danes from sweden , it had a weight of 109 tonnes and was placed outside a museum called the Tøjhuset - as years went by the interest for the story of the huge bunkers placed at the westcoast over looking the city of Hansholm- and the one surviving gun barrel was moved to put on display for Some years back, and today is one of many fine items from war , the Hanstholm area is littered with bunkers and is a visit worth, and the Blåvandshug Tirpits bunker has been also been made bigger and the tourist have come in thousends and been a huge succes.
It's almost like the Nazis discovered concrete in ww2 and they had to use as much of it as they possibly could!!! The bunker is even shaped like a swastika if you look closely at the plans. 😆 😆 😆 lmfao.
