  • Dr. Centeno explains craniocervical junction (CCJ) instability, also known as craniocervical syndrome, which occurs when the ligaments, joints, and muscles holding the head in place become loose or damaged. He covers common symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, jaw pain, and visual changes, and explores conservative treatment options like specialized physical therapy and upper cervical chiropractic care. Dr. Centeno also discusses more advanced treatments, such as prolotherapy, facet joint injections, and the PICL procedure, which targets the internal neck ligaments responsible for holding the head in place. Dr. Centeno, thank you for these helpful videos. I just had PRP & Stem cell injections in my lower cervical vertebrae back in April. And will be returning to have upper cervical injections with Dr. Schultz soon. I love Regenexx, you all are great & I'm finally excited about the possibility of healing!

And some get worse with Chiro! Would you believe some surgeons are sending suspected CCJ instability for Traction!?! I denied it.

Yup, I deal with instability and neck pain and stiffness and dizziness and anxiety now, but no one will listen . I will not do injections or in fusions
