So warming is going to cross over a little bit. They’re making a T10 Soviet medium tank with more armor than the 705, the power to weight off the batchat, and it has the turret from the Smolensk in warships

9:05 I hate to "Actually Jingles" here (lies) but that pen was most likely the result of a simple overmatch. I won't deny that Cadillac was lucky his shell landed anywhere near the center of his aiming reticle to begin with, and I can't say with 100% certainty where exactly the shell went without access to the replay file but I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone here of how overmatching works in World of Tanks. The roof of the T34's turret outside the commander's hatch area is only 40mm thick so aside from the ring of holy protection around the hatch, the surface area on that turret which can be penetrated by even a mere 122mm AP shell from the D25T found on tier 7 soviet machines is ultimately larger than the parts that can't.
I love the fact that this tank has a snowmobile bolted to the back of it. I guess so that a crew member, even in winter, can quickly zip to the nearest town to replenish the vodka supply :)
So, look, here is the story of the Object 705A: In ancient times the great soviet hero Stalin created the tank with a curl from his hair in a Volcano. Then he used the tank to defeat the tyrant Hitler.
The top of upper plate of the 705A does actually have a pretty easy to pen weakspot right I. The middle if you let it face hug you.... I played a lot of games in my 705A and met my end to a few knowledgeable players aha
Jingles points out that when you're constantly putting tanks into a game that sooner or later you're going to run out. The problem with that statement is that a) they started putting in paper tanks long before they ran out of real ones, and b) they still haven't run out of real AFVs they could put into the game and didn't. Two types that come to mind from Germany are the Sd.Kfz. 234 armored cars, which are great candidates since they put that class in for other nations. 234s could have 20mm autocannons, 50mm AT guns, 75mm AT guns, and the 75mm short used on early Pzkw. IVs and Sturmgeschutz IIIs. The other type is the Sturmpanzer IV ("Brummbär"), which has only appeared in the game as scenery hidden in a bunker on one map.
The sad part is, this is far from the only OP tank in the game. At this point if you are someone who still plays WOT, you are a mug of the highest degree.
One anachronistic detail you missed is the body style of snowmobile strapped to the back wasn't developed until the late 1960's. Maybe they wanted to make sure it matched the style of the main gun.

Just for clarification. As I can speak Russian, I have searched the vast internets and found an article that has the blueprint of the actual 705A turret with the 152 mm M51 gun, which as stated in the same article was developed for it. It's still a blueprint tank and all, however it's pretty accurate to the actual project. That said, it's still imba af. It's been happening for a while now. I think he did mention he looked into it a while ago but couldn't solve it, hopefully we get a miracle and he finds that one stupid hidden setting that is causing it 😂
SOO many matches are of people NOT rushing at the end to try and overwhelm the solo tank... they are all very nice and walk in front of buddy's gun one at a time xD
Playing devil’s advocate here: maybe wargaming are accurately portraying the tanks proposed design specifications as found in some obscure archive of the Soviet design bureau, and the reason the design didn’t progress past the initial specifications was because they realized in 1948 that the technology wasn’t available to make the design work. Just saying.
Jingles, I guess you don't do your research properly! The Object 705A is currently quite accurate to what was planned in 1948. The 152mm gun M-51 does have blueprint scans dated from 1947 along with it's prototype before it like the M-43 152mm, M-41 and M-31 which is basically the same gun with a few changes there and here. Yes, the Object 705 could go 60km/h, though the 705a, can't find anything if it could. Remember that the IS-7 weight almost the same and Did go 60km/h during testing and uses the same transmission. And there was experimental 1050-1700 horse power engines being tested on every bloody thing.
As kids, we played guns (gasp!), and there was always that one kid who had to have some kind of utterly ridiculous “super-duper infinity gun.. with force-fields....”. 1970s kid’s version of WG’s Soviet Bias (which totally doesn’t exist).
But then it would be inevitably power creeped by a warhound, that would get power creeped by a reaver, etc... On second thought, I'd play that if I could stomp around in Legio Ignatum colors.
This tank's wiki page is a bit like saying that the downside to being a multi millionaire is that he can only afford to buy a single multi million dollar ship this year.
This is why I stopped playing the game. Though watching these videos, as entertaining they may be, they serve as a nice reminder why I never come back.
actually given that they were designed by the same people that made the IS-7 it isn't really hard to believe when Yuri Posholok, on his own blog, wrote about how the Obj.705 and IS-7 were 2 of a few designs influenced by the MAUS prototype they captured he also mentioned that the Obj.705A was a 100ton variant of the Obj.705, that of course does not mean that WG hasn't recreated them in World of Tanks with the unrealistic characteristics, even if you believe it's engine was based on the engine that powered the MAUS, but the gun was to be a 152mm gun even if not exactly the same they gave to it in the game
I haven't played WOT in years, but man, do these videos feel like home.

I haven't watched a Jingles video in years and his incredulity over the Soviet-worshipping idiocy of this tank was the best. :D
10:00 object 207?
Jingles, never change.
Edit: Since when are all the British arties objects? :o
Keep em coming good sir
As kids, we played guns (gasp!), and there was always that one kid who had to have some kind of utterly ridiculous “super-duper infinity gun.. with force-fields....”. 1970s kid’s version of WG’s Soviet Bias (which totally doesn’t exist).
5:44 Jingles obviously time travel was involved!
The Mighty Jingles; Reminding me why I don't play tanks anymore, since mid 2020! LoL
Ever time i watch one of your World of tanks vids, i feel obligated to try to beat the end battpe results. Still haven't done it ever
Just tought about instaling WOT this other days, after at least a year and a half, but damn, this video made me think again about that :D
Great to see a historically accurate tank in action that is powered bij Unicorn-farts. There is a first time for everything 😂
"dear WG, since you make shit up anyway and dont care about ballance - can i have my 40k Baneblade, please?"
But then it would be inevitably power creeped by a warhound, that would get power creeped by a reaver, etc...
On second thought, I'd play that if I could stomp around in Legio Ignatum colors.
@@kglguy oh yes... There would bei potential for power creep
Bring on the Titans 😃👍
I have to ask at 5:35, who did that 1200 damage and set a fire to the enemy object 705A?
Well that was nice.. I got both a nice afternoon vid and reaffirmed why I stopped playing WoT..
I feel like this is attempt #3?
Cold Waters and Heliborne videos! More More More!
Ill be having a shitty, miserable day and then I hear one Jingles laugh and I know everything is going to be fine :)
Thanks Jingles,
After being frustrated with my german heavies, I decided to go up the 705A line. I'm having fun now
I heard rumors about a farm south of St. Petersburg where they breed unicorns to collect their farts to fuel new weapon systems... ;-)
This tank's wiki page is a bit like saying that the downside to being a multi millionaire is that he can only afford to buy a single multi million dollar ship this year.
This is why I stopped playing the game. Though watching these videos, as entertaining they may be, they serve as a nice reminder why I never come back.
actually given that they were designed by the same people that made the IS-7 it isn't really hard to believe when Yuri Posholok, on his own blog, wrote about how the Obj.705 and IS-7 were 2 of a few designs influenced by the MAUS prototype they captured
he also mentioned that the Obj.705A was a 100ton variant of the Obj.705, that of course does not mean that WG hasn't recreated them in World of Tanks with the unrealistic characteristics, even if you believe it's engine was based on the engine that powered the MAUS, but the gun was to be a 152mm gun even if not exactly the same they gave to it in the game
WG gotta keep that power creep going somehow
