Its too much. Its too much to the point where it doesn't sound natural therefore the joke is lost because the people who you are doing it to are gonna suss you out, even if they don't say nothing. You need to be making more natural sounding farts and much less of them. One good wet shart sound is enough and if theres no reaction just move along to your next victim.
