This is insane ! She is taking on a song made famous by 'The Godfather Of Soul', Mr. James Brown, and puts her personal 'spin' on how it should be presented, using her God given ability to hit notes that just astound everyone from the orchestra to the audience and listeners around the world who have heard it. And she does it with no strain evident as you view her closely. Doing this at anyone's point in an adult career would be unbelievable, but to do it at 12? She is in a class of her own when you realize all the genres she excels in singing.
A small girl and a 30 members life Big Band and she won the competition with her amazing voice. The final leading clarinet was a special Add on for this performance. A wonderful duet. She has the power 🎵💯💃💓🔥all got on their feet for her 🙏🙏💃
This is one of Angelina's premier performances. The power and the technique demonstrated in this song are those of somebody 20 and 30 years older! James Brown would be proud, and I haven't heard anyone else cover this as well either. This might be one of the only songs you've heard thus far that truly demonstrates her jazz roots and soul. I put a spell on You does the same. Great job on support and thank you on behalf of Angelina and hopefully other young artists.
When you watch this again check out the reaction of the orchestra members and, in particular, the conductor. They are thrilled as much as us and the live audience!
Amazing day Lady Luck, I've listened to todays reactions and they were nothing short of fantastic. Angelina brings out the best in you and all of us. Very much appreciate your time, sentiments, and emotions. Thumbs up for your quality reactions.
It is as if all the spirits of great singers living and past entered her body! James Brown! Etta James! It does not matter who, male or female. All their super powers are hers now.
Angelina is absolutely fearless when she chooses to cover a song. She has covered the past and present greats and has honored them by putting forth these incredible renditions of their songs.
This concert is to celebrate the album It's Magic release, they made together to raise money for the Norwegian Military Staff Band. Also they did one of my favorite AJ songs Oslo
Last day 😪 Thank you so much for your support for Angelina and for asking peeps to check out her sites. As for forgetting stuff, no worries, we know your heart is in the right place.
Baby gurl can sang the blues! Many thanks, Lady Luck, for encouraging your viewers to support Angelina by subscribing to her two channels and to watch her original videos, give them a like, comment on them and give them a like. I am sure more viewers for each aspiring artist will subscribe to your channel as a result.
Thank you for another reaction to amazing performance by the Barefoot Angel. It doesn't matter if the music is loud as long as I can hear Angelina's angelic voice. Angelina is the girl with 1000 voices.
At 7 she won Norway's got Talent.Simply different and most definitely superlatively gifted. You have a great time reacting to her performances, keep loving doing it and all will b well.
At 12:23 the conductor looks at her and just shakes his head in disbelief. Simply amazing. If you had gone to the end you would have seen the band stand up and applaud her. Hey lady Luck we really appreciate the recognition you have given to Angelina. I am amazed you have not reached 1000+ subscribers. I just subscribed and ask all you Angels to give Lady Luck our support as she gives Angelina support. Lets get her to 1000 quickly please.
To be fair to the band, this concert was really a celebration of their 200 years of military music making, but I agree with you - Angelina doesn't need an orchestra. She could perform this just as impressively with a simple guitar backing and maybe a keyboard and bass. Her voice does the rest.
Lady .. you are perfectly YOU. Please keep on keeping on doing what you do. Your reactions are fabulous and true. We love you. Don't listen to anyone telling you to be different than who you are .. that's nonsense and they don't know what they're saying. Reactions should be real. They should be as different as people are .. otherwise we would only need ONE. I LOVE YOU! (You're in that going to church part of your reaction! ) .. I don't agree though, that the music was too loud. I believe it was intended that way and it was the loudness of the band that allowed her to top them with her best and loudest voice . I loved loved hearing her sing over this band. JUST HER. She totally topped them .. brilliantly. btW , Lady, you stopped right as she stopped singing and didn't get to see the whole band clapping for her and standing for her .. genuine AWE. I would bet you anything that Angelina asked for the band to be as loud as they could be, She's no fool. It made her look and sound ridiculously BRILLIANT and EXTRAORDINARY. She knows what she's doing.
Pretty spectacular all right. I believe this was recorded on a cell phone, so the acoustics may not have been the best for that type of recording. But still just amazing! Great day of reactions with you! Really appreciate all your hard work here!
Your honesty and humility is so precious 😍 Don't worry about forgetting, you go on and get immersed, LL. What u forget will usually come back in another video. Your laughter is also infectious,, also 😂 AJ's runs are really amazing on this song, and she looks so cool calm collected confident and composed singing them.
Angelina has over 150 outrageous, beautiful, the best, music in the world💫💫💫💫💫. She has sung at Quincy Jones 85th birthday in London, Elton John was thrilled with her Yellow Brick Road rendition & Queen loved Angelina’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
Chris Stapleton has an excellent live re-creation of this song, using his own James Brown vocal tools. But this AJ performance is sooo unexpected - instead of using a sledgehammer of vocal power, she's using a sword to slice thru to us. Both are worthy covers, but AJ's adds an edge that mere brute force doesn't have.
@@ladyluckclubllc Here's the the link to the Chris Stapleton performance to which they are referring. That would make a great reaction as well. ruclips.net/video/XtdFsuhQiWU/видео.html
A seasoned and spectacular performer at 12 years old!! Did you see the conductor glance at her and grin when she did that repetitive piece near the end - watch for it. I am booked for her concert in July!
The only other female singer that I've heard do justice to this song is Christina Aguilera, she kills it, but she was probably in her early 30s. Angelina what, 12 here, good God! Here's the link to Christina Aguileras version, 2007 Grammy Awards, a tribute to James Brown ruclips.net/video/GiiKPvZ8fLc/видео.html
I'm sooo freaking happy right now. Just bought an ticket to an Angelina concert here in my home town in Norway , this summer ...just hope nothing happens that will cancel show ; ) have an great day Lady Luck...luv ur funny reaction to our favourit Umami singer ; ))

OMG, your “rapid fire” multiple reactions have made my weekend! I had to pull away from the Super Bowl to check them out. 😬😆👍 BTW, a superfan of Angelina’s... Chris Walker (BigAngieFan) enhanced the audio of this performance so the band wouldn’t drown her out. In his video he explains why the location of this performance provided many challenges for a better home video. His work is remarkable and I think you’ll love checking it out on your own time. Hi 😉👍loved your reaction. On these same lines as you...Kaleidolescope did a virtual videograhy combining AJ's vocals to this cover song "This is a amans world" which is a must watch its beautifully done, well illustrated You will love this collab of pure greateness.
Not bad for an 11yo (12 here) to be invited to sing on an album to honor the 200 year anniversary of the Royal Staff Band of the Norwegian Army. 😉 They know a true prodegy when they hear one..
A few years ago Angelina did a whole album with this band, The Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces, called "It's Magic" and you can listen to it on Spotify. 2 days ago it was number 23 on Itunes Top 100 Jazz albums chart. Her single of "Fly Me to the Moon" shows up from time to time on Itunes top 100 Jazz singles chart.
Thank you LL for that fun & great reaction to 12 yo. Angie. James Brown would of been proud. She did this again for her CD "It's magic" & it was more like this link - Angie live in a small jazz club with smaller band & it was different & awesome too. ruclips.net/video/rz0UcoAe0lQ/видео.html Check it out & react to it & you can even tell us which you liked more & why ect ect.
Yes... Yes.. Yes... The recording was iff a smart phone, so. Her anh Chris Stapleton can hang on the It's a Man's World cover Ih, and theres a Great cover as well from Leasa Johnson from BGT
Just noted it was listed as being done in 2016. That would make my reference to her being 12, should have been 10. That is beyond my initial description of her being '12' but my brain hasn't as yet come up with a proper description that goes beyond 'insane' !

She is only 12 in this show, she's amazing best talent I've seen in my 67 years
The conductor looked at her like " you didn't do that in rehearsal!"
Your facial expressions are ALMOST as entertaining as Angelina's amazing performance!!🥰🥰
