Hair and nails are irrelevant. I've had instant attraction to women in the Army in uniform. I had instant attraction on the track team. Women just have to be, and instant attraction can happen. Yes, looking healthy and being confident is a factor, but everyone has a different image of what that means. It's not always cosmetics. I personally, hate the cosmetic look anyway.

You should have both. You should have an instant attraction, and for it to last you've gotta have all those other things too. Don't settle. Know what you want and go after it.
I feel like instant attraction is dangerous, I tend to build attraction to someone after getting to know them. I wasn't attracted to my partner at first but he was such a gentleman so I gave him a chance and a few months later I found him irresistible.
Steve must be the most honest man to step foot on this planet when it comes to opinions.
I can say from experience that I was working with my now fiancé for one week and never looked at him as anything other than a friend. I assumed he was 25 years old and that’s a deal breaker for me. Our boss set us up on a date and after 6 hours of talking laughing singing and dancing, I knew he was the one. Two and a half years later, he still is. We’ve had so many struggles but we’re gonna make it.

Chemistry is really important. The key factor I think is to pay attention to the first 30 seconds of talking to that person. Not looking at them, but actually engaging in a conversation and that will let you know what to expect in the future. This has also worked for me friendship wise. I’ve had awkward, yet warming and kind first 30 second interactions and best believe I still get it from that person to this day. If you’ve been talking to a person online, it doesn’t count and you’d still need to meet that person in real life to know. One guy I remember our first conversation in high school and we were just lab partners. But our conversation just felt right even if it was similar to ones I had before. And yes, that feeling continued forever despite me having doubts throughout time and not attracted by him physically, I still loved talking to him. To this day the best banter I’ve ever had because we just understood each other. Then eventually my physical attraction to him grew. Chemistry can affect your physical attraction to a person over time but if there’s no chemistry from the beginning, you’re just forcing yourself to like the person and go on more dates with them. 30 seconds to tell if you have chemistry, 3 months to really know a person, and 6 months to tell the type of relationship you guys have and if it can last.
I can relate to the blonde lady. I went on a date with a guy once, he was nice and all, but I just wasn't attracted. Mostly was because he looked so nervous on the date (I have to say, I was young haha). I didn't really want to see him again, but he insisted, so I eventually said yes.
The second date was completely different. The nerves were gone and I could actually see who he really was. The more he talked, the more attracted I was to him. He was the same normal looking guy (pretty men aren't my thing), but he was confident, he had himself together and he walked, holding my hand, like he was carrying a treasure. Oh, I was really attracted to him after.

They get you hooked I missed a couple seasons since the bachelor fall season but I can hand it to Rachel considering the time she had she did great picking Bryan and someone who hits her on every level.
Attraction exists for a reason cause you can't just be attracted to a handsome man or beautiful woman. She or He has to have so much more to offer qualities that can spark your mind your brain, your heart, your conversations, and what they are about. The physical part can fade if you don't build intimacy.
As long as you're not instantly repulsed, then you can continue to get to know that person, because the more you get to their personality, they will either become more attractive or less. So I agree with Rachel on this question.
Instantly repulsed can work too remember Married at First Sight with Jamie Otis and Doug hehner? she was immediately repulsed by him and even cried at how ugly he was and she did not like him. She kept saying he's not my type I don't like him I'm not attracted to him BUT NOW she's in love with him and they've been married almost 5 years now.

Honestly, I was not initially attracted to my ex, when we first started dating. We were set up by a mutual friend. I had nothing to do that day so I thought why not, maybe I could make another friend out of it. So the day of the date came. I wasn't really expecting much to come of it. But let me tell you by the end of the date, I could not stop thinking about her. We had almost perfect chemistry. The original plan was just to have a meal, and go. But i ended up extending the date by inviting her to go bowling. If it wasn't for the friend, that relationship most likely would not have happened. As I would have never approached her. I was attracted to her personalty

I believe that a woman has to feel that there is a chance she would have sex with a man in order to develop attraction if it isn’t there from the start. It may not be obvious straight away but over a short period of time she needs to feel she could eventually see herself sleeping with him.

Wawwww the lady that first spoke was right on point( if you don’t feel that you want to see him again, don’t waste your time). This is exactly what happened to me, so let me tell you the story. Last year i met a friend who wanted me to meet a guy, i never like the (meeting through friends) thing. I always liked to see the person out of nowhere, smile have butterflies, just like in the movies. Well it didn’t happen like that, i went to meet the guy with one thing in my mind it’s not gonna work. I saw him the first and i was like nah not my type. But then he invited me out, which i agreed just so i could tell him that i don’t want to date him, but guess what i had the exact feeling the lady said( i was like uhmmm he’s actually someone that i would like to see again) we are now 11 months since we’ve been dating. We’ll see where life goes with us!
