I am planning a 9-10 months backpacking trip in SEA, and as I am coming closer to start the trip, I am to my surprise becoming a bit self-conscious about my age for backpacking and making friends in SEA because I think people usually go at a younger age. I’m 32, it’s not old at all, and I am quite social, but I wonder if from your experience people are at different age groups or if age can be a separator with such an activity?
