He kept saying he loves me but never showed it in actions. He got severe childhood neglect, rejection and gaslighting wounds, and has been severely depressed long before we met. Our meeting was completely by chance and a love at first sight. He was this incredibly kind, intelligent, funny yet deeply wounded bird, and I immediately felt the urge to heal him at ANY cost.
