Does She Even Know | IDER at SXSW Online 2021

After releasing their debut album, 'Emotional Education' in 2019 to widespread critical acclaim, IDER went on to enjoy strings of sold out dates across Europe, the UK and North America. This campaign's natural conclusion coincided with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic; the global shutdown allowed the band some much needed extra space around conceiving and producing new music that would come to embody more than one album's worth of material.
UK Sounds is a joint initiative between PRS Foundation’s International Showcase Fund and Department for International Trade’s Music Export Growth Scheme. The International Showcase Fund is run by PRS Foundation in partnership with Department for International Trade (DIT), British Underground, Arts Council England, The Musicians’ Union (MU), PPL, Creative Scotland, Wales Arts International and Arts Council of Wales, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Invest NI. The Music Export Growth Scheme is funded through DIT and administered by the BPI.
The British Music Embassy is the official UK residency at SXSW. Since 2008 it has hosted over 450 UK artists, positioning them in front of a global audience in order to help them to break into new markets and advance their careers. The British Music Embassy also showcases UK production and equipment, giving artists from the UK an unparalleled platform on the world music stage. It also programs non-music events. Panels, networking sessions and Q&As run alongside live music to help establish international relationships that build careers and businesses.
