I adore that Age Perfect Serum foundation. It was a bit of a learning curve for me due to the consistency. I always get compliments on my skin when I wear it. If you use NYX Glass Skin primer under it you really glow.

That Maybelline Tattoo Studio brow stuff is legit. I wear it all day through workouts and sweating at the barn riding horses. Wiping my sweat with a sweat towel all day and I still have brows at the end of the day
I use elf’s hydrating coconut spray on my breaks during the work day . Like a special treat from me to me.

ELF coconut setting mist is my absolute FAVORITE!! I never get rid of a bottle from that product once it's gone, it usually holds whatever other things I spray on my face (skin care products, other setting sprays, primer waters, anything) because the spray from that bottle is sooooo good and even. The Colourpop lippies are also really nice, my favorite shade is called "Museum Date" and it is the perfect brown nude that's a little darker but not too much. Also, absolutely LOVE the Pearl shade of the Lifter Gloss. It was the one I purchased and tried first, and it is still my favorite. This video idea was fun!! Thanks Em!

For the lightest shade in the elf palette, as a VERY pale person I find it works very well for lightening any of the other shades, especially if i went too hard!
No need to worry if we were following you…this idea is totally stellar! I love seeing these inexpensive products that can make you feel like you’re applying more high end, luxury products. I think if you did a side by side application with both price ranges, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I think the base products look ab-so-lutely gorgeous!!!! I definitely get the concept here. I immediately thought of my No. 7 lose powder and the foundation I used to own from them. I also 100% agree with the maybelline lifter gloss. I have mine in Topaz. Very luxurious feeling in the packaging and product.

I am going to pick up all the your base products recommendations for my make up look, for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Your final look was just beautiful.... and I totally agree with you about the Milani eyeshadow palette! It is one of my favorites & I have a ton of palettes to choose from. I also think the Colourpop Taupe palette has the same quality but with a cool tone look to it.
I LOVE the Maybelline lifter glosses. They feel so luxurious. I've been on the fence about the Milani most loved mattes just because I have so many other palettes with those shades but dang... I've heard nothing but phenomenal things about it and every time I hear someone else recommend it I think about getting it. Lol
I just finished watching one of your older videos called Wallgreens HAULgreens from 9 years ago! WOW, that was fun. 9 years doesn’t seem like a long time but wow you can see differences mostly subtle and others I can’t put my finger on. Just fun to watch.
I feel this way about the milani baked blushes!! Every time I use one I’m like how is this drugstore!!!
I agree with the lifter glosses feeling like a luxury product for me. The other two products I use that fit this description are the Milani baked blushes and the Profusion liquid blush with the dauber. Both have amazing packaging, and the product goes on like a dream and wears like iron. Blushes tend to go on patchy on me and neither of these do that at all. Also the Believe Beauty cream blush is excellent as well. I also started recently using an old lip product called twist and shine by Jordana. I just started working 7 hour shifts and I needed something long wearing but that didn't dry my lips out. This product does this for me better than anything else. I loved so many of their products... I miss that brand.

Flormar is a Turkish brand that has GREAT blushes! They are baked and comparable (perhaps even better) than the Laura Geller/ Hourglass ones.

I don't gravitate toward drug store makeup ever, or drug store dupe videos. I have never liked or been satisfied with any drug store makeup item I have ever tried. But this video was so intriguing to me. Your makeup looks beautiful! 💜
If you've not been happy with *any* drugstore product you've tried, then you're overly picky or pretentious..most likely both.
Research how many high end makeup is under the umbrella of drugstore brand names. You are paying for the name and package.
@Danielle D I 100% agree with you! I have had the worst luck with drugstore makeup. I question the ingredients used in most cheap cosmetics as well. I'd rather pay a bit more and have just a minimal make up collection with better ingredients, formula and performance as well as packaging, than have a huge pile of stuff I am not totally happy with. It's a good thing to be overly picky on what you spend your hard earned money on.

My brows are fuller and I struggle with grooming/shaping without overdoing it. If you need to do a trim soon anyway, perfect timing? Anyone else interested? Your brows looked great btw! Layering is such a beautiful thing. The Maybelline lip liner are wonderful. Later those with Matte lip crayon and then the lifter glosses add dimension. Mix and match, you have a nice collection or lipstick wardrobe. I like it. Maybelline has a lot of lipsticks for deeper, richer skin tones. The Fit me line has 50 different foundation choices they sell in Dollar General and Wal-Mart. Happiness 💓! Lynn
The Found blush is my favorite blush I reach for over my Mac and Nars. It's amazing!

We love Idol! Christian Guardino is my friend’s nephew, so we have been following him for years (he finished second on AGT a few years ago). My other favorites are Leah Marlene, Nicolina, Ava Maybee, and Fritz, who I didn’t love at first but has really grown on me. My husband and I lived in England from 2000-2002, and we saw the very first incarnation of the show, which was originally called Pop Idol. It has come a looooong way in 20 years!

Good morning.. I'm not done watching this video but I have to say, that foundation is a perfect color match on you, Em. I swear it's dead on! And I loveee that nyx concealer. I have never actually loved any concealer and I've tried lots.. but I literally think that it's the best concealer. I finally have something I can call a Holy Grail! Lol Love you!

Yes I love the Maybelline 4 in 1 perfector and concealer as my base. Most really dewy products emphasize all my lines and pores but that just doesn't. It's like it has a slight blur along with the glow. I just wish they had a better shade range. The lightest shade is too dark for me really. But I make it work. Hoping you have a lovely day Em!! I think the Lacura radiant primer from Aldi is one of those hidden gems products. I know the Believe Beauty is one you love, but this one is even smoother and the radiance is even a bit more refined (I could see a little sparkle from the BB). Also love those Found blushes you mentioned. They need to be more accessible and expand their products. I think people just don't know about them.

I just wore that loreal foundation today. Mixed in with the physicians formula silk elixir foundation. I thought it looked really nice. The rose ivory is a bit dark for me so o never liked it as much alone as I did today

VIDEO IDEA --- I frequently run late for work and do my make up in the parking lot. If I'm running really late I will "check in" to my desk and then spend 5-10 min in the bathroom throwing a quick face on.
The idea is make up you can do in your car/or in a bathroom. The few products you can throw in your purse and end up with a satisfying-ish face. Products that travel well, don't take up a lot of space, are not fussy, no/few brushes/sponges.
My go to is a shadow stick, creamy pencil liner, concealer (used as foundation and concealer), stick blush, Thrive Mascara (then I don't need to set concealer) and a lipstick. Skip bronzer, highlight, brows.
I love a blush pallette for quick eye and cheek looks.

Great idea for a video! I was thinking of you today as I bought the Believe loose powder and velvet matte liquid lipstick (in Honey Blush). Also my first setting spray (Elf Stay All Night). Thank you for testing so many things for us!
I use the L’Oréal serum foundation too. I found a damp sponge application works best for me. I also love the Milani skin tint. I alternate between the two.
Milani used to make these small palettes that had 5 colors in them and they were incredible! I haven’t worn Milani since those were popular. I may have to check them out again.

I seriously love the Maybelline Lifter glosses! I have so many and just discovered that they have new metallic ones so got the gold last week and it is incredible! There is just something different and glam feeling about topping your lip color with a bit of gold shimmer that smells like cake! I haven’t seen any RUclipsrs try the metallic ones yet but hoping someone does and shares how magical it is!
My Walmart never even got Found. They also got rid of Rimmel.

I love elf also but I was on the Morphe site and they are having a sale and I saw large palettes that were really pretty. One especially that I have forgotten the name but will get it in a few days that I am sure it is a dupe for the new Patrick Ta Palette and it was only $18.00 with many more pans. I will let you know the name as soon as I get. There was another one that had all the colors you usually use and I got it so I am so happy, thanks to you, I know how to buy now. My Maybelline pomade (purchased because you said it was good) is 3 years old! It’s actually still soft and usable, but I just worry it’s a bit old now. I’m using pencils again because I had 2 already in my drawer. I would definitely get another Maybelline pomade though because it find it just nicer and easier than a pencil.

Thans you for this video! Just wanted to mention that the first two products from Maybelline and L’Oréal are not cruelty-free. I try to keep that in mind when I buy beauty products. Some great cf drugstore brands are: Catrice, Elf and Milani. I always check brands on the cruelty-free kitty website!
*I've been saying it for too long, Emily. Duo lash adhesive BUT the newer formulas with the wand. They're latex free, formaldehyde free, quick drying, long lasting and water resistant. No need to spend more on high end glue.*
