  • In this video we are going to show you How to Upgrade and Install the Random-Access Memory (RAM) in an HP Laptop.
Your notebook has two DDR4 memory slots, So you can add more memory into the 2nd slot. Upgrade currently installed 4GB module is also possible. Because of the way memory fits into your laptop or computer, it's actually quite easy to remove and expand. One of the most common ways to upgrade your RAM is to replace your 4GB strips with 8GB strips, giving you a total 16GB RAM, It will be enough processing capacity to run games and complex applications without difficulty. According to the manual, your laptop supports up to 32GB memory, but it's expensive.
However, 32GB RAM is preferred, if you want super-fast data processing and software loading times. If you're running demanding applications like video editing and CAD, or you're a hardcore gamer. then we recommend that you start at 16GB and go up from there.
You can use 8GB RAM and 4GB RAM together, then you'll have a total of 12GB RAM, it will be slower than using two memory sticks of the same size. When using 8GB and 4GB RAM together, they should have the same voltage rating and speeds. We recommend, Install two memory sticks of the same size for higher performance. that's it.
