Very insightful review with knowledge both of the mechanisms at play and the application in game. Thank you for your advice on springs especially 3d vs 2d, one of the better reviews out there.
Nice review! I bought the 24mm versions for my leverless and can also attest that the button feel is very good for silent style buttons. My previous buttons were the Crown 202s which felt great but were just too loud to play late at night in an apartment. Got the Qanbas and while I would say the Crowns still feel slightly better, it’s pretty close honestly, like they’re in the ballpark, whereas the silent Sanwas I have in my arcade stuck definitely suffer more from the “mushy feel.” Qanbas still feel like actual arcade buttons, just quieter. They were a real blessing since I was waiting forever to find Gamerfingers but you can never find them in stock and also they’re really expensive. These are cheaper and readily available.
I like you reviews and topics. I had sanwa silent buttons and liked them but I ordered some Qanba gravity silent and like them more I even went back and forth with them at one point and ended up liking the gravity better. I still like the original sanwas for the loudness 😎
oh that seimitsu lever you are talking about it the SELS-70X-s I have the regular version interesting about it is that it doesn't spin like K-levers. (it also comes with seimitsu removable shaft but its not quick release) I am currently trying it out I am not used to it yet since I mainly use K-lever but I think you might like it also if you want more tension get the LS-56/58 spring.
i did make a detachable lever mod on the new silent gravity joystick its pretty straight forward HOWEVER becareful what pivot you use. it has to be sanwa pivots it can't be hayabusa pivot. so if you happen to lose the pivot it came with you may have to order some new ones
i have the Hori Alpha.. i just ordered both the lever (JOV8S) and the KS buttons.. wondering what are the springs included in the lever box? any ideas? also would any actuator work if i need to change the stock one?
@@frumiousgaming almost one year and i felt like it doesn't have enough accuracy/precision even with better spring. mind you, there were no aftermarket actuators made for it, so i was stuck for this whole time till i finally decided that i need to switch to something mod-able , so i picked up Sanwa JLX-TPML (silent also). out of the box it feels the same as the JOV8S, however, swapped couple of parts and it feels alot better than Qanba, but it's still not perfect. i think the best stick are non-silent ones.

I definitely want to get this buttons, tempted by the lever too but some people seem to have issues with it so I’m not sure

Good looks, thanks bro
I ordered the qanda gravity buttons straight from qanba, got here from Hong Kong super fast.
Great buttons for sure
How long did it take?
Nice video
Who is the best joystick in your opinion?
Sanwa JLX TPML Or Qanba JOV8S ???
I haven't got to try the JLX yet but the Gravity is definitely my favorite lever on the market (so far)

Thanks man 🥰
I also like this Qanba stick
You made things easy for me
I will buy it and won't think twice
Thank you man ❤️🔥
I just found metallic Qanba KS locally and I might get it.

I didn't change anything in my Gravity lever when I made it detachable was adding the Phreakmods shaft, nothing else. Works fine!
@kenshisanki for my experience when i was changing out pivots the hayabusa pivots were jamming the joystick the sanwa ones worked just fine
Do you get deflection when you use it? When I let go from down, sometimes it hits up
No I've never had it happen

Seems like a standard 1LB spring from Sanwa and Hori styled levers
I haven't tested any oversized actuators though
How are you getting on with the stick?
