I really like the ending of this where the dragon freezes the island to Scandinavian folk music (bonus points for originality). It was an amazing sight, but sad and frightening at the same time. It really helped me respect the Snowmads as villains, how fast they kicked you off the Isle and settled in with their ice physics and folk songs.

I never even heard the Game Over theme. Although Returns and Tropical Freeze are much harder than the original trilogy, it's so easy to rack uo extra lived that even when I lost 30+ live in one od those many instant kill areas of Returns (and somewhat hard platforming sections of TF) I never got down to 0 lives.
Ways to ruin a birthday party: 1. Smash the cake in their face 2. Have no one show up to the party 3. Have vikings from the north pole come out of absolutely nowhere, have them summon an ice dragon to blow them into the ocean and cover their homeland in snow, and have the ship take control of your homeland.
Or if you’re Pac-Man, you get your whole birthday ruined by someone taking your identity having kidnapped your whole family and have to go out of your way to get them back, then be teleported to some unknown place and have to defeat some weird alien guy because he threatened to destroy a dimension that is about to collapse into the real world where you live in on your birthday no less. And in both cases your cake is ruined.

Hoy shit, that was beyond EPIC! The whole Viking Ship army was very intimidating, I truly felt a little fear when that entered along with the music... And then the supposed king of all vikings appears in all shadow with a badass voice and evil face....... Seriously, dude looks powerful..... And then he chooses Articuno with a badass dragon face, and the poor Kong fired away from their homeland, with epic music, Oh, and now we know how the hell did the ship got to the top of the island! Finally dat flute freezes DK island and makes you feel sad because you (DK) lost everything in just the blink of an eye..... Dem feels with this intro, man.....
Beautiful animation, and a great reference at the beginning! As the Snomads happliy sailed their way, their large Waldough leader blew a horn as a mysterious icy dragon with it's beautiful grace swept the poor primates off their feet. This looks like a movie intro, the Snowmads sure knew what they were doing, they took the whole island and froze it over, it's like the whole game turned into Ice Age.

I have another bit of info that contributes to the K. Rool being the Snowmad leader theory. If you look at the official artwork of the Snowmad leader, and zoom in on his face, you can barely see his face around his eyes, and his skin is scaly. Also, he has a huge, round belly, similar to K. Rool. It could be K. Rool in disguise. Lastly, in Donkey Kong Country 2, K. Rool's Flying Krock gunship was atop the map and where you fought him, and the Snowmad leader lands his ship atop DK Island here. Interesting similarities.
Donkey Kong has always had amazing soundtracks,from the jungle hijinxs,to the mine cart tracks,gangplank galleon,crocodile cacophony,the DK rap,snakey chantey,the world map themes,the tiki tribe themes,the rocket barrel theme,this 2:09 ...my God this part is a masterpiece.Donkey Kong is a master at creating one of the best soundtracks in gaming history.

Now we need the Snowmads and The Ice Dragon freezing Crocodile Isle and The Kremlings trying to save their home from freezing and some of the Kremlings as playable characters.
King K. Rool NEEDS to return. He's owned by Nintendo for starters. My question is - Why would Nintendo keep the Snomad Leader concealed? We know nothing of this villain. K. Rool could easily disguise himself with an outfit or koustume (see my pun). Also, you notice how the Penguin looks really concerned and scared when he sees the Kong house. He immediately reports it to Mr. Snomad Leader. Also their music is similar to K. Rool's theme. I would be surprised if K. Rool was not in this game. Also if K. Rool appears in this, that could skyrocket him to be in Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U.
If this doesn't save the Wii U, then the problem is not Nintendo, it's this generation's gamers that is the problem. Also once this game comes out I'm going to have to unsubscribe until I beat the game because I don't want the temptations of the spoilers. I'm all for it while waiting for the game, but once it's out, I'm all for no-spoilers. My guess for what will happen in the sequel: The Kremlings have returned, and it will be revealed that the events in Returns and Tropical Freeze were orchestrated by King K. Rool. King K. Rool had previously performed a summoning ritual to awaken the Tiki Tak Tribe and made a deal with Lord Fredrik so that the Snowmads can take over Donkey Kong Island. And King K. Rool's generals will be the Kremlings from Barrel Blast (Kip, Kass, Kludge, and Kalypso).

1:55 had to come back to hear that music, it was stuck in my head and it had to be a sign to listen to it again. It saddens me that this song wasn’t in Smash Ultimate as battle music.

You only fought K.Rool on a ship once, in DKC1
In DKC2, you fought him twice, once on an airship, the second time on the power source of Crocodile island
In DKC 3, you fight him twice again. First time in his castle, second time in a submarine
In DK64, all 5 phases are fought on the box ring he built inside his UFO.
