- Once again we enter video game territory with this very requested Silent Hill nurse. Back in 1999 when the PlayStation game was released by Konami it was one of the scariest games ever. The Silent Hill nurse halloween makeup tutorial gives you the chance to transform into a truly classic game character and hey, the mask is reusable!

Please be specific about your bandages! A very few amount of bandages are actually safe to use on the skin and they are usually expensive or from high end craft stores. If they are not skin safe they WILL burn you because of the type of plaster used to make them e.g. Plaster of Paris. Please do you're research before buying or using them or you could end up with some serious scarring. I love your videos and I think that you're channel is definitely the best for sfx especially if you can't access a course!! ☺️

This might sound funny but since I don't have latex at home I just use elmers glue with toilet paper or what ever I have around..a lot of house hold items work great for these video well u know that..I learned that I can make Veins using string from u guys..:)

i thought i was the only one to use regular glue even sometimes i use a glue stick but you have to stick it good. :")
+rose you actually are not suppose to use elmers (pva glue) or a gluestick on your face

So latex won't hurt your eyebrows if you put Vaseline over it first right? Bc I don't want to rip my eyebrows off.

it'll protect your eyebrows don't worry :)I tried it before , and my eyebrows are pretty "thick" ( they have alot of hair in them ) and the latex didn't pull out my hair at all :)
+Paige “applegrape” Ryan You can also use a gluestick, I've done that and applied latex on top and my eyebrows are still perfectly fine.
As long as you apply a godeven layer of the glue, but vaseline will work just as fine :)

to anyone worried about the plaster in face thing, i did a similar project except i wrapped my face in cling film (with holes to breath) and did it that way, it worked perfectly and with the same results kin to this.
When I was 10 or 11, my entire art class paired up and used plaster gauze to make face casts on each other. It's perfectly fine.
it would be so cool if you did like one if the the characters from Tims burtons Alice n wonderland and made your own dead gorey twist I think that would be neat
You should check out 'American Mcgee's Alice' if you're looking for a gory Alice in Wonderland :) it's a video game but there's loads of look tutorials!

can you use a mask that you can buy at the $2 shop and do the same thing on it. And is it safe to use the plaster your using because someone in your comments is telling everyone that you don't warn people and its unsafe and it can burn you but I feel like you warn us and Elli would of got burnt if it was dangerous right?
+Rhianne Tarau Plaster bandages are safe NOT plaster mix. Big differance. But if you want to be super safe then yes buy a mask :) We warn you if it is unsafe!

i like a removable mask. When i did masks like this for halloween i couldnt drink or eat anything or smoke, and i got REALLY sweaty :xD

Me and my other half did silent hill nurses. We put a carrier bag over our face with eye, nose and mouth holes and bandaged straight over with the plaster of Paris bandages. If you do it half way back on top of your head the mask is easy to slip on and off to drink and stays put with no extra bandage.

For sure =) You can also create it using the same method we did for Skeletor and a few other looks. Latex paste. But yes, it will last =)
