Why do ppl keep comparing the look to pinkstylist? His has more of a cartoon-esque feel to it, while hers seems a bit more realistic. The only thing that looks similar is the shaping of the smile but you have to keep in mind it's most likely shaped that way so she can be able to see under the prosthetic
All materials are always listed in the Tutorial Overview in the beginning of the video. We currently don't push brands, as basically any brand will do the job :)
Didn't really matter for this tutorial because of the wig, but if you didn't trim your edges on your prosthetics you wouldn't be able to see them as much. Like in the Ariel tutorial, if you would've left the thin edges they would have been really smooth and not so noticeable.

When I first started off I used 'peel-off' face masks! They worked great. I use latex now, but facemasks work good too. They also smell better, latex smell gross haha.
You should look online, it'll be cheaper. However, you could use eye-lash glue. I use it, and it's just like latex. Plus, it's made for your skin, so it's perfectly safe.
Id say when searching for latex, try searching in the sculpture supplies rather than the makeup/costume section. I found myself a bottle of 1 litter for 12$ on a site for sculpturing hobby. Its the same liquid latex its just sold for different purpose. I found that items being sold for halloween are always more expensive..

For a better realistic effect I would’ve built up the “base” of the mask with the latex/flour mixture but left a large gap for the smile, larger than necessary. Then I would’ve gotten sfx gelatin and waited till it got tacky and apply it to the edges of the smile-gap, and then add the stitches. It will look more like flesh because it would be more flexible and slightly see through. Then I would’ve added scab blood. It would create a better and creepier effect. Plus stitching would be easier! Just a tip for future reference :3
