    The Atlanta Falcons are turning heads as they gear up for the 2024 season, with bold moves and fresh faces aiming to break their playoff drought since 2017. Here’s why everyone’s buzzing about the Falcons:
    🏈 NFC South Favorites: Projected to win the NFC South, the Falcons are on the rise despite past struggles.
    🔥 High-Profile Signing: The Falcons made waves by signing Kirk Cousins to a 4-year deal, making him the highest-paid free agent in NFL history. Can he bring his top 10 career passer rating to lead Atlanta to glory?
    🛡️ New Leadership: Raheem Morris, the former LA Rams defensive coordinator, steps in as head coach with a mission to fix the quarterback issues and steer the team towards success.
    🌟 Rising Star - Bijan Robinson: After an impressive rookie season with 1,463 total yards, Robinson is set for a bigger role behind a top-ranked offensive line.
    🚀 Revamped Receiving Corps: With speedsters Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore joining Drake London, the Falcons' passing game looks more dangerous than ever. Can London break 1,000 receiving yards with Cousins at the helm?
    🔔 Kyle Pitts’ Potential Rebound: The highest-drafted tight end in NFL history is poised for a comeback season with the help of Cousins and new offensive coordinator Zack Robinson.
    🛡️ Defensive Focus: Despite past struggles, retaining All-Pro safety Jessie Bates and having the easiest schedule in the NFL could be game-changers for the Falcons' defense.
    🤔 Intriguing Draft Pick: The selection of QB Michael Pennix Jr. hints at long-term planning while aiming for immediate success with Cousins.
    👥 Unified Coaching Staff: Bringing a cohesive unit from the LA Rams, Raheem Morris, Zac Robinson, and Jimmy Lake aim to infuse the Falcons with winning energy.
    📝 Key Questions:
    Will Kirk Cousins deliver playoff contention?
    Can the defense step up this year?
    How will the new coaching trio influence team dynamics?
    Share your thoughts on the Falcons' chances this year in the comments below and don’t forget to check out more videos on Football Nation!

    My biggest hope for this season is that the young guys in the pass rush finally break out. I hope Ebiketie takes another step up, and Harrison at DE took a huge step towards being a legit pass rusher at the end of last season.

      The Falcons won't make it to the SB but after all the building they've done in the last 3 drafts (excluding 2024) anything less than a payoff birth would be considered a failure I think. I like the defensive mind set of the coaching staff though. I think that's gonna help the Falcons stay in a lot of games this season.

    Nobody should be sleeping on the Falcons this season. Kirk has 3 hungry WRs that are all capable of 100 and a score. They got Bijan and Allgeier is no slouch. Pitts should obviously feast. Just need to try to get a defense now. Need pass defense bad followed by a premium Mike LB that can get 100 solo tackles per season. Those don't grow on trees though.

    Since our DL was not really strengthened overall, there's no particular reason to expect a better pass rush from it. It's our glaring weakness. I suspect Lake will have to work out schemes to have the LB corps do a lot of the pass rushing. Fortunately, we open against the Steelers, whose OL is below average. But the Eagles the following week? Well, that's a very different story, and our DL will really be tested.

      I don’t think that’s a fair way to prove your theory right. Arthur smith was head coach with a no name as OC. Arthur basically called all of the plays offensively. Now that he’s back in his OC role with limited responsibilities I think he will do well. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t his fault Atlanta’s offense was below average. Atlanta are the most overrated team they might be good but Overwhelming favorites over Tampa bay is laughable and Kirk is not that good that early stretch could’ve been a fluke and he is dealing with an acl tear and is 36 so he might regress significantly and Kirk could’ve just been carried by Jjetas now he goes to a worse offense plus Atlanta might not even be confident in Kirk when they drafted Penix

  • @David-ig5rz
    @David-ig5rz 12 дней назад

    This franchise is comically bad. They have half of a secondary, zero pass rush, overrated pass protection, and more holes on their roster than swiss cheese yet they have spent their last two first round picks on a RB and a QB who won't play for two years in the best case scenario.
    Pitts is a BUST, they should save taken Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave over London (who scares absolutely no one downfield), and they have no home field advantage (watch the opener when MBS is at least 50% Steelers fans).
    I've been a fan of this team for 30 years, and U9.5 wins this season was one of the easiest bets I've ever made. Starting 0-3/1-4 is nearly a death sentence in the NFL.

    • @David-ig5rz
      @David-ig5rz 12 дней назад

      @@drew388 That line was elite at run blocking, which is why their grades are so high. They sucked in pass protection. Brian Burns kicked McGary's ass repeatedly. If an offensive tackle is better at run blocking than pass protection, then he needs to be playing guard.
      As for Pitts's "amazing" rookie season, he averaged 4 catches for 60 yards per game and scored all of one touchdown. The #4 overall pick needs to be better than that. If a pass catcher is QB dependent, then he shouldn't be taken that high. Larry Fitzgerald destroyed defenses for his entire career despite a revolving door of terrible QBs. I don't want to hear that bullshit excuse for Pitts. This fanbase bends over backwards to make excuses for him and refuses to hold him accountable for anything, like when he half assed that deep route against the Lions last season that probably should have been a touchdown. That kind of garbage is inexcusable.

      @@David-ig5rz our pass protection was not as good as our run blocking thats a fact but we were still ranked top 10 in pass protection. also every reciever is qb depenant lol. if someone cant be accurate and you have to stop and run backwards or stop and get the ball slapped out because a qb cant throw is not his fault. yhen to add to the mix we got london and bijan to share touches. last but not least aurthor smith did not use pitts nealry as much as he should have. pitts didnt get that many plays called for him. yes he was lazy on some of the routes he was called on but he was not 100% along with probably getting fed up with ridder. sorry the whole team incuding our def looked like they slacked after we fell behind in the division and when ridder would throw int.
